Carrapateira Lodge

Really a relaxing place to stay. Everything was clean. Comfortable bed. Shower worked fine, even though the water pressure wasn’t the greatest. Some disruptions with Internet connection, likely related to high winds at the time. It’s a vet small village, central location in it.

We had a great experience. Attentive hosts, nice room, and a well equipped kitchen. Close to the only restaurant open in February and to the local mini market.

Our stay at the lodge was really lovely. The owner is friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The shared kitchen was clean and with all the equipment we needed to prepare our food.

It is located in a very quiet area which was great because it allowed us to have a peaceful night sleep. There were also a few little furry friends living nearby.

Definitely recommended especially if you are doing the Fisherman Trail you can use it as a place to stay for the night and recover your energies.

A real family homestay ! Comfortable, practical, quiet, clean. You share the kitchen, living room and terrasse. You can prepare your breakfast and do your laundry. I was more than happy to have a break there after 3 nights of rain under the tent on the trail

It was a pleasure to meet the very, very nice hosts of Carrapateira Lodge. Me and my friend had a great time there on our stay. I can only warmly recommend the accommodation and the small city to everyone.

Staying here was like becoming part of a family. An amazing and loving family that is always ready to offer a helping hand, that checks in with how you are doing on a daily basis and that gives smiles that you will remember. I feel grateful for having been able to stay here for a while and for having been able to become part of the family!

Really nice place, clean and nice staff :) they did our laundry for free, washed and dried them for us. Only a 3 minute walk to the center. (That’s why it was kind of noisy until the town slept ;) )

The lodge is comfy, clean and at a great location.
Sam is the perfect host. We felt like home.

Todo muy limpio. La cama muy cómoda y muy bien ubicado cerca de restaurantes. La cocina, amplia y con todo lo necesario. A destacar la buena atención y amabilidad de los dueños. Totalmente recomendable.

Localização excelente, limpeza impecável e sempre tudo bem arrumado. Simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionários. Cozinha equipada com tudo o necessário para uma estadia perfeita.
Sítio calmo e tranquilo, recomendo a estadia neste alojamento.

Casa de família com quartos para alugar. Ficamos num quarto com wc privativa. Tem cozinha que se pode utilizar entre todos. Serviço de lavandaria. Óptima localização. Mas e filho simpáticos e acolhedores. Bom preço. Recomendo
