Great Portuguese tapas. Everything we tried was tasty and the right portions.
Try the octopus it was excellent!! I suggest you pair your food with wine verde Regueiro it was 10/10.

Authentic Portuguese food, in an authentic Portuguese home-like restaurant, with an authentic Portuguese friendly staff. The food is very very good and not expensive. The staff will make you feel at home. This is a place you should not miss while in Porto!

Good service, good food at an affordable price and the place is calmer as it's far from the touristic restaurants. We really enjoyed our lunch at this place

Stopped in on a whim for a lunch n break during a bike ride. They were busy but found us a table quickly. Tapas selection that we choose was delicious, as was the wine. Service was comfortably paced allowing us to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Looking forward to returning soon

One of those little gem of a find while staying in Porto. It always busy with locals and tourist... it's situated next to the Douro river and perfect for watching the sun set. The menu comes in the form of a card which you tick..... The food was sooooo nice, but unfortunately only found this place on my last day..... recommended!!!

A brilliant find on a rainy day in Porto. If you are anywhere in the area, don’t miss it. It’s a family tapas restaurant, make sure to ask the staff for their recommended dishes. You won’t regret it.

Cozy great Portuguese tapas place, delicious and calming in front of the river, the bridge and the sunset. Very friendly, many plates to choose from. Recommends the cod balls and fumed salmon, but every plate was very tasty.

On our short trip to Porto we were lucky to find this beautiful restaurant. The service was very kind and helpful with explaining the dishes and would always make sure that we’d feel comfortable. The Ambiente was perfect for a romantic evening with view to the water and the typical Portuguese trains. Every single meal we ordered was a tasteful enlightenment (especially for the prices). We stayed there for a few hours and couldn’t stop ordering. Experience 10/10 would (and will) recommend to anyone who’s visiting Porto!!

Every Wednesday night there's traditional Fado, and wow, what a pleasure to experience this. One of the absolute highlights of staying in Porto was experiencing this in a bar full of locals. The food is also exceptional, very much traditional home-style cooking in a cosy setting with extremely attentive and helpful staff.

Whenever we come back to Porto this will always be top of the list!

Exceptionally good. From food to service to ambiance. The in house smoked salmon is amazing, and the bolo the chocolate with some Porto wine is a dream.

Prices are fair and the staff sure give good recommendations.

Delicious local fare in an adorable setting on the rivers edge. Tapas and great Sangria. Highly recommended

Very good food and ambiance. The owners of the taberna and the servers are very friendly. We are glad we stopped by and have some clams, roasted chorizo and mollejas, with a bottle of wine.
