Kasprowy Wierch Cable Railway - Ground Station

Very quick entrance and well maintained system to get up the cable cart. Cheap for the experience you get an would make sure you are on the side of the cart so you can get the view the whole way up. Ensure you give enough time to get back down as they do stop running fairly early.

The one of the most high points of Tatra-mountains.1987 m.
Amazing view ! It's the border between Slovakia and Poland. You can see the nature of the both of countries from the top.
But you can't never guess what will be the weather like. You can climb on with the shining sky, but after 5 minutes it could be snow with strong wind and bad view from over the mountain.

I highly recommend a visit on this place. There is a bus service from Watra up to the mountain. You need to walk like 300m to buy the tickets. If you are going on high season, probably you should get tickets online and arrive early as the queue will get big.
There are restaurants at the top but I havent tried them.
The view js amazing, a lot of snowboarding and skiing. If you go with children be careful to dont let them fall.

If you dont plan to go up and walk back make sure to purchase return tickets.

Must see! Stunning views! If you have a car I recommend driving to the top parking lot and then it's about 20 minutes walking up to the cable car station. We had 2y.o and a stroller and it was quite manageable. Also it's best to go there earlier (before 10 am) as later there are long queues to enter the cable car. Tickets available at the spot, no need to buy in advance.

Must visit place while in Zakopane. The cable car takes to the highest point in the Tatra mountains in 10-15 mins. The view from the top is amazing , as well as the view from the cable car during the journey.
Gets crowded though, with long queues for tickets, although if you have booked in advance then no need to wait in the queue. This was definitely my favourite experience in the whole Zakopane trip.

Wasn't alot of parking when we went alot of construction going on. Car park near hotel was 50zl cash only. Was then about 10 min walk to area . Toilets were available but charged 2zl to enter make sure you have some cash on you.
Wasn't alot to go up you can either hike up and catch a ride down or get a return trip.
Height of mountain to top is 2600+ meters. Was -4 at the top. Wear suitable clothing. Also snowy.
Restaurant is available at the top you can have food and drink. Small little shop sells few t-shits and hoodys and jumpers hat gloves.
The views are spectacular, especially if you catch a clear day. Absolutely breath taking I could of stayed up there for hours. Definitely worth seeing. We drove just short of 2 hours from krakow to see it. I'd say was worth it. Located in zakopane.

One of the best Cable car in Poland. In Summer they are usually crowded. They open from 8:00 to 15:30. If you dont have ticket already in Hand dont bother to arrive around 15:30. Usually tickets get booked very fast. One car can take upto 60 people. On top there is a restaurant which is too crowded because everyone try to drink or eat something. Off season ticket cost 99 pln for both way. On top they give u two hours, that include the trip which is around 15 mins each way. Unless you go for a hike 2 hours is mote than enough.

The cafeteria on the top was really amazing. It's a bistro type and with great options. The staff was so helpful!!! This was our best dinner ever!!!
We bought the tickets online beforehand. It was Thursday afternoon. The way back at 7pm was pretty crowded though.
We were traveling with a 2 year old baby. The scooter we took with us was quite a burden, but there was a corner to leave it to take a nice mountain walk. It was quite cool that day, so we spent an hour outside and some time in the bistro.

Long queue to go we spent 3 hours waiting to get the tickets but worth visiting

You MUST tickets online the night before or come early to avoid waiting in a queue for hours. It is very windy at the top so bring a jacket. When I arrived at 9:30am on a Saturday the line was very small but when I returned at 12:30pm the line for tickets was huge. This was from October 21st.

The best experience. Make sure to book a two places one ticket: we booked Cable car and also a 3 hour termal bath session in Termy Bukovina.

This is obviously the main draw when visiting and coming to Zakopane. The newish gondola whisks you up from the edge of the city center to one of the highest peaks in Poland, literally on the border with Slovakia. We bought tickets in advance at a kiosk in the city center a day beforehand, which was a great idea, saved us hours of waiting in a queue at the gondola. Even then, we still had to wait about 15 minutes to board. Unfortunately there is some construction going on on the main road, so taxis, cars and busses cannot get to the gondola, so be prepared to walk about 1km uphill slightly. The lift is great and moves fast. At the top, you can buy some souvenirs and there is a restaurant with good food and drinks. You can walk around a bit at the top too, to even higher peak. Unfortunately you only get 2 hours total, minus the time of the ride up, so use it wisely. A big minus is no dogs allowed, even small ones. Even though whiny kids in strollers are allowed. This should be changed. However it's worth the price and a great experience. Recommend visiting.

Nice smooth ride up the mountain. Wish I could say the same for the walk down. Can't beat the beautiful scenery.

Better to buy tickets day or two earlyer on official webpage, because most of the quees were on buing tickets on site. Parking is far so you better come earlyer to get it on time. They may pass you a bit earlyer than your time if its not very crowdy. Organisation for going down the hill with lift was bit chaotic, but situation was under control. Recommend.

Best for hiking. Do remember to pack some jackets, caps, gloves. It gets really cold at the top from sept end onwards. Buy tickets in advance if u dont want to wait. Waiting time is 1.5hr+

Amazing view. Recommended to go for a full way. (with return ticket around 25 eur per person). Fast ride. Like 5 min.

Amazing views of the Tatry Mountains from the top. There were very long queues to the ticket booth so glad we have booked in advance online which is very easy and quick to do.

Went with my fiance, not hard to walk there, considering our clothing of choice wasnt really appropriate for hiking. But all in all, very nice place to visit for a lot of hours. 👏

What a perfect experience, we go for top of mountain, and it deserved to visit, I will back again in summer with more activities, as now these days degrees in top -9.
