Tatra National Park, Poland

The Tatra National Park is endowed with a rich natural and cultural heritage, featuring numerous mountain lakes, waterfalls, and serving as the habitat for endemic plant and animal species. Fortunately, it's a less popular tourist destination, allowing for a more serene experience.

This national park is a paradise of beautiful mountains and serene lakes. The abundance of hiking trails allows for endless exploration and reveals breathtaking views at every turn. Although it can get crowded at times, the park's magnificence is undeniable. A horse ride to the top is a thrilling experience, even though it may be pricier for a round trip. Walking back offers a chance to encounter the park's wildlife, like the majestic deer we came across. Don't forget to indulge in a refreshing beer at the nearby restaurant, and if you're looking for accommodation, consider Zakopane, conveniently located nearby. The misty mornings add an enchanting atmosphere to this unforgettable destination.

It's realy nice if you know where to go ... and what to avoid. Some tracks are design for families, covering valleys for example, some are harder, more difficult. Hight on polish side is up to about 2 500m . But some of the tracks going to Slovakian side. Never been in troubles.becsuse of that. Some wild animals might be spotted ( including bears) but never met any. And as far as I know , they more likely to eat platns and anything that they can find rather then hunt. So be careful if you are going with your sausages. Tracks are close for night because of that reason from spring till autumn.

Must visited place for the tourists. I really enjoyed a lot. Specifically when I was walking on the mountains, the sceneries of both side was eye catching. Once I reached the Moriske Oko, I was mesmerised.

One of the most beautiful national parks I have ever layed my eyes upon. We were here in autumn so the place is absolutely beautiful. I have three recommendations on where you should visit:

the sarnia skala mountain top, as it has amazing views over the entire park as it is in the center of the national park.

The Morskio oko lake. This is the most famous location and is also next to the highest mountain in poland (Rysy) which is climable but only without snowboots between june-august, definitely a mountain i will climb when i come back.

Siklawica Waterfall, this waterfall is beautiful and has very fresh drinkable spring water.

You can easily visit these places in 2 days, location 1 and 3 can easily be combined. I will be back in the future, definitely a place you should see atleast once in your life. In autumn its less busy than in summer I have heard, and you got many beautiful colours.

Wow what an amazing experience 2 and half hour walk on a road up to the most amazing place straight off Instagram if you ask me fresh mountain water running down the side plenty of stops to rest and refresh your legs .horse and carriage aswell if you don't want to walk it but we'll with it

This place is one of those spots you just want to keep coming back to. It's incredibly nice and charming, creating a desire for return visits. The overall experience is truly enjoyable, and it's easy to see why you'd want to return again and again

Amazing mountains & hike

Breath taking view, good paths, tracks and lifts

Very nice place, but very busy in the weekend when you attend the lift. Maybe make a reservation before waiting a long time in the line.
