Hotel i Restauracja przy Oślej Bramie- Zamek Książ, Wałbrzych

I love this restaurant and hotel. I stayed in a suite here and everything was so clean and it is a wonderful location to Ksiaż Castle. Restaurant has tables you can sit outdoors and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Staff are all so friendly and kind. I ordered the chicken strip dinner which came with fries and two cabbage slaws. As well as a greek salad. Food came out quickly, hot, fresh ingredients and delicious. Highly recommend eating here when visiting the castle.

Not the closest to the tour exit. Needed to go up an incline and some stairs.

Great, quick service. Staff didn't know English but we got by with Tak/Nie and some Google Translate.

Drink and ice cream (it was hot) served immediately. Then, about 10 minutes in the ribs and neck. We enjoyed the meal as it came with lots of sauce (we somehow always order dishes that are served very dry :D). Sides were light, too.

Bill and payment served immediately.

A friend and I went to the castle and found this unassuming little restaurant below the hotel. Please note there is another restaurant on the walk to the castle.

The food was perfect. The waitress spoke great English as I do not speak Polish this was very nice. The menu was also in English.

We started with the sour soup. A Polish friend with me said it was the best he has had, and I could not disagree. We then asked for 2 mains, the pierogies and bigos which they split for us into 2 plates. Again we were blown away by the bigos which is the best I’ve had.

Although full we both opted for dessert. They were also perfect and something one round get at a more expensive restaurant with beautiful plate decoration. They may not have made the desserts (unsure) but if they were brought in then it was a very professional bakery. My chocolate and organs cake was really good with candied orange peel in the layers.

If you visit this castle, you must go to this restaurant. One small issue was with parking. There appears to be free parking some distance away, maybe even 10 minute walk. It was not signed well. Parking closer is limited and 15 PLN, but worth it if the weather is not great.

Having travelled all over the world Of found this place to be truly idyllic and great scenery for a wedding. The staff of the hotel were very helpful and accommodating and kept the rooms in very good condition. The girl on reception Paulina was great and very welcoming. 5 stars for what they are pitching themselves to be. Thank you

Relaxed hotel on castle grounds. Our very afordable and spacious room had a balcony attached that was part of the old castle wall. Great meal at the restaurant also. Perfect stay for exploring the castle area and the many hiking areas.

Restaurant: second time here and again 5 stars. Quick service, delicious food and opened in 7 p.m. Perfect after a long walk through gorgeous park and castles.

I've stayed here for one night. The service quality is good. Despite you are a guest you have to pay parking fee (because the barking belongs to castle). I recommend you to stay in room 4 because it has private terrace which is adopted on the old castle walls.

The potato pancakes with stew are extraordinary! Something to work on: I ordered orange juice and it was mixed with water.

Trzeba pamiętać że ocenia się hotel w starym budynku z historią. Usytuowanie idealne + możliwość zabrania pieska. Minimalne uwagi do pokoju, zesputa lampka, jakieś ślady kleju na stoliku ale to drobiazgi. Czysto i smacznie ( poza cenami napojów ). Kiedyś wrócę.

Opinia dotyczy hotelu: pokoje usytuowane w budynku kompleksu zamkowego - świetna opcja gdy w hotelu Zamku Książ nie ma już miejsc. Na zwiedzanie zamku i terenów wokół lokalizacja to złoto. Obsługa fantastyczna, dostaliśmy szczegółową instrukcję dojazdu i możliwość zameldowania się po godzinach pracy recepcji.

Restauracja i hotel u podnóża Zamku Książ. Wpadliśmy na kawę przed wizytą w Zamku. Przemiła i gościnna obsługa poczęstowała nas również ciastem i babeczkami - gratis 👍

Wracamy z restauracji jedzenie super. Obsługa przez Pana Rafała profesjonalna. Ceny przystępne. Pierogi z gęsiny wyśmienite. Kucharz ma dobry smak.
