Restaurant la casa de Santiago

Ate dinner twice here during my stay at the hotel. Opted for trout both times and a soup, all good. The second time around I asked if my trout can be served with some parsley (it goes super well with garlic and I was missing the flavor), they said yes, but I think they actually went to the store to get it. I would have lived with a simple no, so I really appreciated the gesture ;) Was slightly more expensive that what you would find in the village but I guess that's what you pay for the attention and the convenience :)

I highly recommend this restaurant. Food (trucha con salsa de maracuja is fabulous!) and wines are amazing, and the host Edwin is warmful and gave us lots of recommandations for our journey in Colca canon. Don't hesitate to spend a night in La Casa de Santiago.

Super restaurant avec du bon vin, de l'alpaga, de la truite, et des soupes incroyables. La température est vraiment bonne à la nuit tombée, ce qui est agréable par rapport aux autres adresses de Canabaconde. Edwin nous a très bien accueilli.
Je recommande vivement !

Please avoid the restaurant I have been served Frozen uncooked meat. When I asked and show the meat to the landlord he said it was normal. Somewhere else the restaurant would be closed. When we asked for more fries, the "chef" said that it was the portion (10 fries on the plate)
