Kuntur Wassi Colca Hotel

I love this hotel. The approach is through small cobblestone streets towards the top of the hill. This place is fantastic. The beds are comfortable and covered in wonderful warm blankets. I had one of my best night's sleep here. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Maria, the proprietist is generous and warm and giving. And the views. The views of the Andes are epic. From a rooftop covered seating area one can look out 360° on the town, see the farm animals, see people going about their day, watch the sunset on the mountains, and if you wake up early enough you can watch the sunrise all from that same perch. It's a fantastic place to spend some time. Highly recommend this little gem of a hotel.

Interesting actually unique architecture. We got a round room, that was fun. Staff very friendly and the food was good. More variety on the menu than many other places in Peru. The hotel is located on a rise so there are nice views from the upper floors and dining area.

This place is perfect when you want to relax after long journey. The beds are perfect. Everything was clean. The breakfast was included in price. Free Wi-Fi is good during the day but at evening when all guests are online is terrible slow. But still working for writing this review:)

The best thing about this place is the staff - super accommodating and friendly. Very helpful for planning treks down into the canyon. The on-site restaurant whips up tasty dishes, the rooms spacious and clean, and the price reasonable.

First, I recommend the stay in Cabanaconde before/after the treck days in Colca canyon. The village is so smooth and the people are so nice ! Next, I recommend that in Cabanaconde you stay at Kuntur Wassi. The place has all amenities that you need but is not bling bling, the restaurant is great (lomo de alpaca is really good there) and the staff is extremely helpful and, last but not least, you are located at the top of the village so the view is not bad ;-)

Very friendly staff, acceptable food and very clean and nice rooms. The price could be a bit lower but is OK given the location.

The staff is the most friendliest staff you could ask for. The rooms are nice and you're located in the right spot to do some hikes and/or visit the canyon

Nice hotel with nice people

Hotel molto carino a 2 minuti a piedi dalla piazza centro di Cabanaconde, sicuramente il miglio alloggio del paese. Ottimo come base per le attività da fare in zona o anche semplicemente per rilassarsi. Molto buona anche la cucina, con piatti tradizionali ma anche pizza.

Fui con mi pareja, por 4 días y 3 noches, y la experiencia fue demasiado agradable, bonitas habitaciones, excelente servicio, grata experiencia con el restaurante y abundante desayuno. incapié en la preocupacion del personal (me salvaron la vida a mí y a mi pareja, literalmente)

Mi familia y en especial mi hija lo disfruto mucho, agua calientita ; estar frente a la naturaleza viendo el río. De verdad espectacular lo pasamos muy lindo y sobre todo nos relajamos

Super séjour dans cet hôtel, sûrement le meilleur de la ville + Bon restaurant aussi. Il fut même possible d'y retourner se reposer une fois rentrés du canyon!
