La Cabaña Machu Picchu

I originally booked elsewhere, but they were sold out when i arrived and my reservation had been transferred here. I was given the most amazing room, where the bathroom was almost bigger then the room itself. I had an amazing view out my window of the area and a mountain. I loved this room so very much!! it is in the back at the top of the stairs. Even if you don't get that room, you can experience the view in the outdoor hallway / balcony at the top of the stairs - outside this room. Breathtaking!!!

Amazing experience staying at La Cabana ! Most recommended for any travel to Machu Picchu and staying in Aguas Calientes overnight.

Once we had made our booking online, the team at La Cabana reached out to us and got the details of our arriving train.. one of the staff was promptly present at the railway station to greet us and guide us to the hotel.. this was super helpful in the confusing streets of aguas caliente.

The staff at the hotel spoke perfect English and took care of our every need.

They had special towels at the reception for the hot water springs..making it a super comfortable experience.

We had a 6am entry to machu Picchu and hence had to leave by 5am.. the team had prepared boxed breakfast for us to go.. this was an amazing breakfast set that made our day much more enjoyable.

Most importantly the room was super luxurious and ultra clean.. the bathroom was large and was amazingly clean..

Most recommended for any traveller.

I've stayed at La Cabaña many times in the past and after 8 years away made reservations to bring a group of 12 for 2 nights not knowing if it might have changed. Well, it has! And, now better than ever. Often when traveling you reach a point where you long to get home to your own bed. All I could think of was that I wanted to take the bed from La Cabaña home with me.

The hotel has gone through a major renovation and Marta, the owner, has done an amazing job. The ambiance is beautiful, welcoming and the rooms are impeccably appointed right down to the heart shaped rose petals on your fluffy white down duvet. Rooms have de-humidifiers, heat and plenty of hot water. Your valuables can be placed in a safe in your room so you will feel free to roam around the village or enjoy the hot springs just a 2 minute walk up the street.

The restaurant serves a complimentary morning buffet breakfast that is incredibly abundant with eggs, fresh breads, pastries and fruits, cheeses and meats and plenty of coffee and tea . They also provide delicious dinners in an atmosphere where you can relax and feel pampered.

Some of the rooms can be a little small but the attention to detail and comfort make this reasonably priced hotel feel high end. The staff is at the desk 24/7 always greeting you with a smile and warm hello.

Give this hotel a try... it will play a big part in making your stay a memorable one!

Great hotel, everything as expected for a reasonable price. Originally they refused to reschedule our reservation over a phone with no reason. Later in person, the front desk assistant Richard approved our request and gave us a nice room with jacuzzi. So we decided to stay one day longer.

I stayed for one night on November 5, 2019 for my Macchu Picchu trip. Room was huge for myself, and it was sparkling clean. Staff was courteous and breakfast was sumptuous. Pedro, the manager, was very helpful. I Would recommend to travelers and would definitely stay there again when I get a chance to visit peru in the future.

Very nice hotel near MachuPicchu station. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. We had a very comfortable stay in this cute lovely hotel!

Very good luggage service, pick up and deliver at the train station. Hotel is nice, breakfast close early at 9:00.

Posizione ottima, staff gentilissimo, camera fantastica doccia, idromassaggio, il posto perfetto per rilassarsi prima o dopo la visita di Machu Picchu. Possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio fino al ritorno da Me, colazione dalle 4:30 ma se si esce prima preparano un sacchetto della colazione da portar via, fantastico.

Staff gentilissimo e preparato, le stanze sono pulite e molto ben organizzate. Purtroppo ci sarebbe qualche miglioria da fare. Nel complesso 5 stelle perché c'é tutto quello che serve, il personale é perfetto ma va contestualizzato il posto.
