We stayed at another hotel nearby, but were lucky to find this restaurant. Lunch was excellent and so good we returned for dinner the same day. You can tell the cooks / chef take pride in their delicious creations. Beautifully presented dishes and very tasteful. Don’t often review, but felt compelled to do so. A must try that is very reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful dinner at Taywa. The food presentation was amazing and the flavor outstanding. They have several Peruvian specialties as well as pizza. Our waiter was very friendly. Prices are good and off the main tourist street. Highly recommend giving them a try you will not be disappointed.

We came to the restaurant, did not stay at the hotel. The food was delicious and our waiter Jose was very kind. They have a big menu so there is something for everyone! Peruvian, Chinese, Italian & pizzas, and hamburgers.

This coming from a New Jersey bloke from the States. If you're looking for some very good comfort food during the day or late evening then I gotta suggest this place! Plenty of room for a party and late night caffeine fix.

We were so lucky to find this restaurant, the food is exceptional, and a nice change from the tourist restaurants. The food was made with real creativity and love. If you’re visiting Aguas Calientes, definitely try it.

Delicious, fresh food. We had the aji de gallina, fettuccine Bolognese, and salchipapas a lo pobre and were all super happy. The Leche asada and tres leches were a great way to end the meal.

My boyfriend and I came to Taywa after reading reviews saying it was reasonably priced (as reasonable as you can get for aguas calientas). We ordered the alpaca, the grilled trout, and the mixed juice. The total was 69 soles. Everything was delicious - the alpaca was juicy, and the trout was crispy. I will say the portions are not giant. There were maybe eight pieces of alpaca, and the trout filet was fairly thin. However, we found it to be the perfect amount when combined with the rice and fries and vegetables that came with the meal. The juice did take a while to come out, but we could hear them blending it fresh and when it came out it was delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

We were staying at Inkaterra hotel but the dinner seemed expensive so we tried this place nearby. The food was super delicious and a big portion. With 2 drinks we only paid 80Sol/20€ 🙏🏻 kind and friendly staff and super clean too

Friendly staff, great service! I had the chicken soup here more than once (perfect for me on a rainy cold night). Juices and desserts were all fresh! Also open late for night owls.
