Tao Dulce Salado

Cozy place for ice cream and desserts. But loved the veggie burger and lasagne as well. The fries with the burger were very well done. Compared to other places which are more expensive in Aguas Calientes cost was ok. Service was good. The burger was good sized. The presentation of dessert was amazing as well. We had the chocolate cake - with chocolate sauce and sliced strawberry on the side and the carrot cake with caramel sauce. This was right next to our hotel.

Delicious cakes, that are warm when eaten. Friendly service. Price was good. We paid about 4 USD for two big slices.

Great gelato. The dark chocolate was very good. First time trying lucuma. It was good, but pretty sweet. Lemon was okay. Would recommend Tao Dulce Salado.

One of the best restaurants in Aguas Calientes! We ate here 3 days in a row. Staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. Best empanadas I’ve tried yet! The meat lasagna was amazing and the desserts were to die for! Got to try Lucuma ice cream which was delicious. Definitely recommend eating here at least once!

Really quite good! In Aguas Calientes there are mostly overpriced touristic places that are of poor quality, but this place stands out as having good quality. Tried the salty and sweet crepes, and the chocolate volcano cake and a latte, all delicious and well worth it. Also they did not have a bunch of guys out front trying desperately to get you to go in (like most places in Aguas Calientes).

The server was very friendly and welcomed us as soon as we entered the restaurant. They offered menus in both Spanish and English to accommodate the customers. The food was excellent and had very large serving size. The drinks were also excellent and were half a liter in size. This place was literally the perfect place to eat at after the machu pichu hike because it offers great pricing with amazing serving sizes, heavily recommended

Tourists in the town looking for an amazing local empanada, come here!! Freshly made tortilla chips and very good guacamole as well. Empanadas are fantastic and there is a wide variety of local ice cold beers.

Easily the best place we ate at Aguas Calientes. The empanadas, crepes, juices, and Irish whiskey were all good. The prices and portions were good. 10/10 would come back.

Had an amazing beef brioche sandwich (would really classify as a burger with the size), but what really impressed me was the salad. A normal side salad has a few customary cherry tomatoes thrown on top, this had avocado, zesty dressing and an assortment of vegetables other than a pile of leaves. The juice has to get a customary mention, what a tasty zing!

Ate here each of the days while staying in town. Food is fantastic and the service is amazing. Definitely recommend for a meal or even just dessert and a drink.

A bit off the beaten path (there is like two streets that everyone goes to in this town) but well worth visiting. Very kind friendly people who work here. So welcoming and helpful. They have a delicious and wide ranging selection of craft beer. The baked goods are fantastic. The outdoor seating allows you views of the mountains as well as the trains going by. We liked it so much we came here twice in a one night stay.

Good little cafe; visited several times. Coffee v good, as are the empanadas and lasagne. Queues for the ice cream. Soft seats and strong WiFi. Great service from Angel.
