Latino Coffee

I absolutely loved this place. Everywhere in Aguas, Caliente is super overpriced and everyone is begging you to come in their store. This little café is on the side in the main Square beside the church and there’s no one hustling and begging you to come buy their stuff. I went in because I was really hungry. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and a cheese empanada. I wasn’t expecting much but when I sat down they had Wi-Fi and they had a bathroom which was excellent. My phone battery was drained and I was desperate to charge it and guess what they also had a charging outlet ! It was quiet and they were a few locals inside. They were out of sandwiches, but they also sell a variety of sweets and beverages. Surprisingly, my smoothie was very large and refreshing. My empanada was so delicious. I had a variety of sauces with it, and after eating it, I had to buy another one because it was so good and flaky. The beautiful young lady who worked at the counter was adorable. She gave me my privacy and allowed me to sit down and browse through my phone. I asked her where I can get my passport stamped for Machu Picchu, and another surprise she was able to do it, so I was pretty happy about that. All in all, I really had a great experience. Unlike what other reviews said I did not pay so much. Aguas Caliente is an expensive tourist town and eating out is expensive in 2024 so if someone complains about spending 30 soles then they better just make their own coffee and food at home. I was happy to pay 45 Soles for all the food that I eat and my super large delicious smoothie and on top of that I also added a generous tip for the beautiful kind lady who served me so well. Thank you Latino café and my very nice host. You represent your country well, and as a Canadian, I will recommend your little café to anyone visiting your town.

Pequeño local, pero buen café y la empanada de pollo con verduras estaba buena. Pastas gigantes. Precio correcto, teniendo en cuenta que está en el mismo centro del pueblo.

Muy conveniente para tomarse un café mucho menos costoso que en los locales vecinos. Comí croissant y estaba muy muy rico. El café bueno también. Sólo con sencillo se puede pagar.

Pedimos dos jugos y un empanada de carne. Estaban ricos ambos y fueron sustancioso. El precio por lo que te brindan esta aceptable.

Buen lugar para sentarse o conversar. Los precios no son muy caros como en otros lugares y está cerca a la plaza.

Good coffee and cakes, great selection of ice creams, fresh lemonade. Stay clear of the burgers and opt for a sandwich or empanada; should have known better but I was fungry :(

Very burnt coffee unfortunately. They have a real coffee machine like other places around here but are still burning the coffee...

I ordered an alfajor and a small coffee and spent close to 30 soles. Super expensive and not worth it. You can get better food in other places in the area, please avoid this place. Do not recommend.
