La Boulangerie de Paris - Machupicchu

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING: La Boulangerie is closed for the month of February and maybe even longer because they’re remodeling. Google says they’re open, but we went and they have a sign on the door saying they’re closed for a remodel. A lot of the best restaurants in Aguas Calientes are closed for the month of February because it’s the low season, so keep that in mind when googling places that even though they say open they might be closed, which is a bummer bc sometimes you have to walk the 10 min just to find out they’re closed.

Delicious alfajores, loved the cute designs on them. They’re softer than other varieties, more cake-like and the dulce de leche filling is sweet and decadent!

Lovely place to have breakfast and coffee time.

We were recommended by our friends who previously visited Aguas Caliente. Located on the second floor, the layout of the cafe is very laid back and not very busy, especially in the morning since most visitors are at Machu Pichu. For the same reason, selection of bakery is the largest in the afternoon. The coffee and bakery selection is very reasonably priced and for the quantity, it is a lot for the value! We returned here many times during our trip.

Lovely little spot. Coffee was delicious and so were the pastries. The waitress was also very attentive.

Perfect place for coffe and cake. Its located next to river with nice view. The cake are delicious and for good price. On the picture you can see the cake what they offer. You can pay by cash only.

Very quaint bistro in Aguas Calientes serving empanadas, Belgium Waffles with fruits, Crepes with fruit, delicious pastries, Gelato ice cream, Frappuccino, espresso and yummy desserts! There are many more items! It was a great discovery!

In the small town of Aguas Caliente it is hard to find much that really stands out. This quaint second floor shop did just that. So much that we came by twice, once for lunch and once for a final pastry. One nice note about the place is that there was no one out front enticing us to come in like many of he other eateries in town.

Pain au chocolat !!! Very nice and lovely place with a great french chef, different specialties and nice window view on the river. The place to be for breakfast.

Very good artesanal ice cream! The Chicha Morada ice cream was delicious!

Great service and delicious food.... big empanadas and juices

The food is really nice. Our waitress, Hermelinda, did a great job. She was so welcoming and nice to us. Great products and amazing flavors!

Don’t pass on the citrus lemonade!!!! The best!!!

Sweet staff, great hot chocolate and coffee drinks, ice cream, beer and empanadas. Nice view overlooking the river.

Food is very nice!
Chocolate cake was nice and a well sized portion too.
Peach cake and Amaretto/Coffee/Chocolate pastry were also nice!
Service was great, Susan and Claudia were very helpful!

If you are looking for some great pastries after a long day on the mountain, this is the place. It is not the coziest place, but the specialty coffees are made great, the pastries are excellent with lots of butter between layers and the service is great. WiFi is also great.

Good place for coffee! They also have desserts, empanadas and ice cream. The location is great, you can have a nice view, get a seat by entrance located right at the end of the bridge.

We got our breakfast and lunch sandwiches here. They were fresh and delicious. After coming down we had pizza, chicken curry pie, pain au chocolat, custard slice and homemade hot chocolate everyone loved their choice. All delicious.
