The Magma Chamber

This place is downright amazing. We stayed here for 6 nights to discover El Valle and we can recommend staying here! The room is clean, the kitchen is well equipped and Ken and Kat are extremely helpful. There is a lot of nature around (2 times we had a sloth in the tree in front of us) and although located near the main street, its very quiet and peaceful. Thanks again!

Ken/Katrina have two casitas (private room/bathroom with a shared kitchen) and a small house for rent. I booked via AirBnB and stayed for a month while working remotely (outside patio under a roof). They've cultivated a wonderful little jungle oasis where you'll hear birds and see other wildlife. Ken/Kat are fantastic hosts who are always available to give travel/site-seeing advice and are extremely kind to help you with any small needs you might have.

We stayed here early January on our way to Isla Coiba. It was perfect for us. All the facilities we needed, great company, and only a short walk to all the town had to offer. Loads of day walks straight out the gate. Oh, and superb value for money, we like that! 😂

So on the way back from Coiba, we had another delightful stay here. Obviously! Our Airbnb Superhosts Ken and Kat even rustled up a sloth with baby in a tree in the garden for us.
For a retreat away from the world - but not too far, the Magma Chamber will be very hard to beat! Thanks guys! 😙

Loved our stay here, Kenneth and Katrina are so kind and have a lovely property. We enjoyed use of the kitchen and common areas.

We really enjoyed our 1st visit to El Valle The casita is comfy & cozy. I especially loved the “hot shower”.
We learned so much about the beautiful area.
Looking forward to a return trip.
