El Nispero Zoo

The habitats are old but the animals are in great condition. The layout is larger than I expected, wear your walking shoes! All this place needs are signs on the plants and it would be a botanical garden too!

Great location to pass good time with animals. I loved to go there again. A lot of animals to see and a great montain to discover. Good place for all the family.

We was in the morning and the weather was good for walking and seeing the animals. The price for entrance was 18$ 2 adults and 2 kids. The staff feed the animals at the time wa was there. Also they have plants for sale. We like to walk and see the animals not soo many species to see but nice to visit.

I enjoy the zoo. It was beautiful...exactly what me and my daughter need for a fun sunday out. Only negative thing i have to say is that I wish they serve real panamian food.

This was an exciting place to visit. Granted, it feels like it took forever to make it to the valley where this is located. The zoo can be hard to find if you drive yourself and you or your tour guide is not familiar with the area. I loved seeing all the animals there. Different types of falcons and eagles, raccoons, frogs, spiders, ostriches, emus, pigs, chickens, turkeys, turtles, lizards, regular and white peacocks, goats, coyotes, and some more animals that I am probably missing. I wouldn't take a special trip just to see this zoo. If you don't have some other business up there I would visit a zoo someplace closer to the city because it's a trek to get up into the valley. It's full of winding roads. Beautiful view headed out there though. I'm glad we did it.

I have been coming here for more than 8 years and it is great every single time. A must go in El Valle.

It's a super cool zoo. It's a rescue that takes care of loval animals. Also, part farm. It is basically a giant piece of property that someone lives at and just like added more and more animals and then eventually opened it up to people.

Beautiful location in El Valle. Primates have a large and expensive diet that is very costly. Stay tuned for more info and fun ideas to help raise some funds. I was happy to visit after a few years of not going to El Valle. The place has improved a lot ,the animals look good and well cared. The place is clean, and safe and fun for children. A great place to take your kids and let them learn about nature.

Good for walking and relaxing. My recommendation

The Nispero Zoo is a jewel in the paradise. Their staff is very friendly and professional. The Zoo needs some maintenance since it's old and rugged. I'm pretty sure that one day it will be privatized, which is going to be a bad thing. Anyway, they should have a donation box on the counter where they sell candy since donations are going to help this place to keep up for longer time.

It's worth a visit. It's a very beautiful natural park.

Small Zoo but beautiful atmosphere, have a raincoat just in case, enjoy!

Rained pretty hard during our visit, but we still had a good time. Lots of interesting birds and animals to see.
