Incredibly beautiful natural pools and waterfalls. We came during dry season, there is still plenty of water but walking down the stream was very safe. We went past the “peligrosa” sign (danger) and got to a really beautiful cluster of pools. The initial part of the path there is quite steep and I imagine this is very dangerous if it’s slippery or more water but during the time we went it was fine - be cautious if going this way.

This place offers a little adventure for people of all ages. The trek from the parking lot to the waterfall felt about ten to thirteen minutes. Although it is a straight walk you will have to deal with changes in the terrain. You will experience a mix of flat rock, jagged rocks, narrow dirt walkways and also boulders. A little risky at times but nothing dangerous. The entire way you will be walking alongside the stream. This is a perfectly sized adventure for someone wanting to hike a little but not sweat during the process.

The entrance will cost a couple of dollars. The parking lot is small and will fill up quickly. The road into it is narrow but with enough space to park along the side. Right along the parking lot are a few huts with tables and chairs were families gather and bring their barbecues. Walk downstream from there to get to the waterfall. The waterfall itself is very small by any standard but you can sit in certain parts and enjoy the flow of the water. It empties into a large opening where visitors sit and take a swim in the shallow water. This is the area where most visitors stop to enjoy the place before returning. It is not advisable to trek further down the river.

Myths and legends add to the mystique of many places. This place is no exception. According to online sources, the name of the waterfall, Las Mozas (the girls) comes from the legend of three sisters. To make a long story short, three sisters cried on top of a boulder due to heartbreak. Each one jumped into the water to calm themselves and magically became part of the aquatic world. Some say they can be heard at times. Others even claim to have seen them.

We absolutely loved it! Beautiful nature, refreshing water, picnic tables so pack snacks/lunch if you wish. Water shoes almost a must! We swam, we hiked and jumped into
the river. Family trip, kids 16,14,8. All enjoyed it.

A little tricky at times with narrow paths and rocks, but beautiful and peaceful in the nature of Panama. Worth the adventure!

Nice waterfall and hike. My kids are 7 and 9 and we had no problem trekking. Bring water shoes or if u don’t care to get ur sneakers wet it’s ok. Water is super cold but refreshing after a hot day

Beautiful spot by the river. Not a far walk by any means, but so pretty. You can easily spend an hour just walking around here. Totally worth the 2$. Quite big parking lot. Cabanas for pic nic if you bring food.

This was a great place for a short hike and a refreshing swim. There were some people swimming right near the parking lot and others maybe 50-100 yards in but if you walk about 1/2 mile you’ll come to some cool waterfalls and a nice swimming spot. We went in the dry season (April) and it was an easy walk and our shoes didn’t get wet. You don’t need water shoes but the rocks are pretty sharp and they would make the swimming easier if you had them. It would be difficult/impossible for a toddler to walk this by himself. We had to put our 3 years old in a carrier.

Short 5-10 minute drive from the nearby town. Pay the people at the gate $2 each and park up. There are benches and covered spots for eating. Walk the river path for about 5-10 minutes to get to the best bathing spot. Water is the perfect temperature for the heat of the day.

Im giving this place 5 stars!! It’s a great place to hike down the waterfall or just relax in the water.

It’s shaded in many places and there are tables to have a packed lunch. It’s clean and the cost is $2 per person.

You really get to appreciate nature here. The bugs were less aggressive than they are at the beach🤣🤣🤣💯. Make sure you have good grip water shoes and enjoy!!!

Beautiful waterfall. Nice for a dip. Easy to find (as we found lots of waterfalls not where googlemap says) and just needs to pay 2 dollar/adult. Easy 5-10mins walk down to the main bit.

Cliff jumping! pay $1 to get in. Walk down the river to the right from the parking lot. Go about 1/2 mile to first big water fall. The pool under the water fall is deep enough to jump into. There's a lower jump (I'd guess 12 feet high) on the side of the river that you walked in on (off the rocks) and a higher jump up in the trees across the river (about 30 feet high). We did both in late December with no problems.
