Hawk's Nest Bed & Breakfast

Lovely tranquil refuge from the urban insanity located atop of the hill. It is run by an extremely hospitable Canadian couple. Absolutely stunning view, friendly doggies, surrounded by the alpine scenery. Recommended.

Had an absolutely great time with Wanda and Randy at Hawks Nest. Just under one hour from Rio Hato airport and 20 minutes from the Town of Coronoda.
The views from their spot on the hill breathtaking, surrounded by mountains with the ocean off in the distance. It’s the perfect spot to decompress and take in the splendour of your surroundings and have a wonderful time with your hosts. Whether it’s lounging in the shade, taking a dip in the pool, mornings in the hot tub, or taking a hike with their friendly and fun dogs life here on the mountain is at your own pace.
Being up in the mountains gives you the best temperature you have the warmth of the sun, but the humidity is left at the beach with wonderful breezes, and at night when we were there the winds picked up and offered a wonderful cooling effect to our rooms, as such we needed the light blankets to find the perfect cozy nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. The sounds of the winds made it feel light we were at the ocean as they sounded like waves, loved how peaceful and calming this was.
The hosts, really can’t say enough Wanda and Randy were wonderful. Breakfasts were always great, and we also enjoyed a number of other meals with them and the pizza, everything you read online is correct they were fantastic.
Look forward to returning, Wanda and Randy thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect

Vue incroyable sur la vallée. Les repas réalisés par Randy sont très bon et très copieux. Surtout les petits-déjeuners avec les fruits frais du jardin. Un très bon moment. Notre chambre était très bien, propre et paisible.

NB : faites attention pour venir, c'est assez corsé, favorisez le plus grand tour.

Super séjour au calme, nous avons adoré passer 2 nuits au Hawk's Nest, avec des hôtes super sympa, qui nous font sentir comme à la maison ! Un doux moment, un endroit merveilleux avec une vue de fou, qui nous a permis de profiter du coin avec plaisr ! Nous repasserons :)

Felicidades a Wanda y a Randy! Excelente lugar, es mágico... la comida muy rica, el clima genial, la piscina infinity superrr y sus perrihijas Estela, Harley y Sally son muy simpáticas y amistosas, nos vemos pronto!

Excellent accueil des propriétaires, magnifique maison avec une superbe vue sur le Pacifique. Nous avons pu profiter du jacuzzi, piscine et de la grande terrasse. Un très bon dîner convivial nous a été proposé, c'était excellent. Prévoyez d'arriver avant 18h pour le coucher de soleil...
