Lovely little spot where you can view some of the few Panamanian frogs left. Run by a tiny team and staffed by volunteers, it is a must-visit if you are interested in nature and animals and in the Anton Valley area. Very affordable entry prices and a small store to buy souvenirs and support their efforts. It was wet that day so we didn't try the walking trails, but will definitely return for that at some time.

We really enjoyed the enthusiasm and information at EVACC. Emilydis and Yasmin were a joy and they showed how much they loved working there. It was amazing to see the golden frogs and I hope the continued efforts and re-populate Panama! Thank you for such an experience

Absolutely enjoyed looking at the frogs and learning about them. Also included other animals such as lizards. Well worth the entrance fee.

A tiny room with many frogs. I had an amazing time here and got some great souvenirs. The golden frog that the valley is known for is critically endangered and endemic only to this area of Panama.

A small, lovely centre. Great examples of amphibians and good information provided by the very nice staff. We also walked the short trail with our young child (and the local dog), which was very nice. Definitely worth visiting and supporting.

This place is a gem! The knowledge that their current visiting team of teachers was amazing. There was also a lovely jungle hike on the property that featured the areas square trees. We were very lucky to see a sloth 🦥 out just sleeping in a tree. We had a lovely time.

Really worth a visit. The center is located behind the swimming pool of the hotel. It's run by a couple of enthusiastic, young conservationists. The place isn't big but houses some really interesting amphibians and the detailed background information you get is very interesting.

For the whole family very informative and entertaining. A visit is highly recommended. And the best thing is that with our visit we are supporting this organization and helping to protect these species from extinction. Thank you for the great tour!

Learning about the Golden Frog and other amphibians at EVACC is - like the brief tours at the Butterfly Haven and the Aprovaca Orchid Garden in El Valle - a nice way to spend a half hour and learn interesting things. The inexpensive entry fee helps support their conservation work; they collaborate with others trying to save the Golden Frog like the Maryland Zoo. Add to it the Square Trees Trail that begins and ends within a few meters of the center.

I've never seen such selfless dedication up close. Such passion and knowledge, and we were fortunate to learn and see about more amphibians than ever before.

I wish you success, and thank you for a great experience!

Thanks to all the amazing work being done by EVACC and its interns for essentially being the Noah's Ark of endangered frog species in Panama! Your work is so important and helping us learn more about how we might save our planet. Keep up the great work that you do.

The place is a bit hard to find since it is on hotel premises. Don’t let that stop you! Just drive on when you see the entrance of Hotel Campestre. You can park at the hotel and then walk 200 meters until the conservation centre at the right of the hotel.
It is great to see that this is the one place at El Valle where the golden frog still lives. There are about 40 of them. The staff can explain all the work being done not to let the species die. Great visit!
