This place has apparently awards for being the best coffee in Panama. The owner, Giorgio, was quite charming and fun. A local directed us here. He makes an 8 cup sized espresso, which he serves to groups. Giorgio really is a fun character who likes to come with ideas that make customers laugh.
We had the Berenjena (eggplant) omelet on fresh baked bread, and it was amazing.
Apparently, the priest from the church across the street comes to have coffee every day and blesses the place.

A very calming cafe, a local feel with the staff so respectful. This is a must try for a place to relax in the morning! The gentleman making the coffee, probably the owner, even added the last leaf he missed with the milk. Didn't try the gelato as it was too early, but it looks good!

They have a 7 flavors of gelato, We had an AmAzing pistachio ice cream, recommend their ice cream if you are around

Simply wonderful. Gracious knowledgeable owner and courteous efficient staff. Outstanding coffee and breakfast and ice cream. A really lovely spot that pays attention to quality and is reasonably priced.

The service is amazing, they had a paella for 8 people serving at $65.00 it tasted great and you can have hot chocolate as dessert, the place was clean and they followed Covid social distancing and mask wearing totally recommended.

We loved the cappuccinis there. The service was friendly and fast - always with a big smile.

Excellent cappuccino. Probably the best I've had in Panama. They use a quality arábica coffee. They also serve croissants and few other small items.

Wow! Fantastic chocolate ice cream and tiramisu! My wife and I discovered this place after we had lunch nextdoor at Casa Florencia. They serve coffee, ice cream, and other desserts. We are going to have a very light dinner this evening to save room for a few desserts at Pausa Cafe. [Note: we are only in El Valle for two nights and rarely eat twice at the same place while traveling during stays of less than a week.]

My wife and I stopped in here recently to get some gelato. Still working on my Spanish but I think I had mint and chip in a waffle cone. Everything about It was amazing. The flavor the cone and the friendly staff. We will definitely return to try more of their offerings.

Amazing service and authentically Italian, very proud of their product and it shows. Great place for breakfast and the coffee is really good too.

The pastries were delicious and service excellent. Will definitely visit again.
