Came here because of the good reviews and was curious about the menu of the day everyone was talking about. So worth it. Ask for the menu of the day because it won't be on the menu they give you. They usually offer two choices such as fish or chicken. Went there twice and chose the fish both times. The flavoring was so good even though the fish was breaded. Ask for limes because it tastes so good. The meal of the day costs around $3.5 which includes rice, salad, and a bean soup. It will go up to $4.8 if they give you this awesome juice that I couldn't catch but it's so delicious. Ordered the ceviche both times which cost $14 but it's a huge plate. Prices on the regular menu are pricier since they're $13 or more but the shrimp with rice we ordered also tasted really good. However, best value was the fish of the day. I will miss it.

The fish on the menu of the day is just as great as people here on these reviews have been saying
Buttery, flakey, and with a delicate taste. For the current price of $4.80 the plate of salad, rice, beans, fish and a side cup of juice definitely filled us up. The owners are Costa Rican but they seem very dedicated to the art of cooking Peruvian food. The lady of the house attended to us personally.

We almost missed it had it not been for the hostel's advice. So so good ! Food was cheap and served quick, flavors were great, meat super tender and the ladies super nice as well. Not to be missed while in el Valle de Antón !

The Bodhi was my first stop in El Valle 3 years ago. It's only gotten better and more beautiful. The same core staff is still there keeping the place clean and well managed.

This is the JEWEL of El Valle. I am hesitant to give such a glorious review fearing that this place will be overcome with patrons.
This is the most affordable yet delicious place to eat in El Valle beats everyplace on all but one front.
Food from ordering the daily special (most affordable) to items from the menu food arrives hot and delicious.
Service from being cordially greeted upon arriving to havi g the entire table served at once has in my opinion beat every food establishment in El Valle.
Ambience being situated on the main street attached to a mini super does not provide much ambience but let me assure you the food and service make up for this.
You must treat yourself to a fantastic meal here, get the special of the day and this will be your "Go To" place from that moment on

Loved it! Good food, large portions and good service. Ask for days special at midday, they have a lunch deal at very good price.

Our favourite in El Valle de Antón. They have a daily menu for just 3.50 $, which is plenty, tasty and includes a juice. Their specialities are great as well!

Amazing food, truly a necessary experience and inspiration for any foodie. Very accommodating to meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free, and all dishes are fantastic!
