If you're the least bit interested in orchids, plants endemic to Panama, or conserving species that are threatened or endangered, you will find this place beautiful and informative. The tour took about half an hour and cost $1 for Panamanian children, $2 for Panamanian adults, and $3 for foreigners (sorry, I don't know if foreign kids cost $1 or $3).

February is not the best time to see lavish displays of orchids - the wet season is best for that - but there were plenty of plants in bloom, some truly unique.

Fascinating, small orchid garden run by a woman who knows a lot and is happy to speak slowly for mediocre Spanish speakers. Well worth a stop, though it’s hard to find initially.

Amazing place. A hidden gem. So much variety of orchids. Around 300 species. Entrance only cost $2. The care takers of this place are very nice.

Lovely woman who is very knowledgeable about orchids. People complain that the orchids were not in bloom when they visited, that’s not under her control. If you know anything about plants you’ll love this place, well worth the $3.

It had tons of different orchids but they all flower at different times. We had a nice guide who explained everything to us. Hard to find

We went on the off season... Most of the orchids are only in bloom from August through the fall, but it was still worth it. The plants were beautiful, and at the end of the tour they put out feed that attracted the most incredible and colorful local birds. If you're in the area, it's worth the few dollars, any time of year!

A wonderful little garden where they grow orchids and return them to the wild. Very helpful staff. Very enjoyable and a good project to support.

Très joli endroit, qui regorge d'orchidées et autres plantes toutes plus belles les unes que les autres. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la responsable du lieu, qui nous a appris beaucoup de choses sur les espèces cultivées, la faune, ainsi que sur l'histoire du lieu. Charmant endroit pour profiter du calme et s'émerveiller devant la beauté de la nature.

Un sitio encantador. La mujer que lo lleva es muy amable y agradable. Fui a principios de noviembre y no había muchas orquídeas en flor, asiq nos cobró solamente una entrada para 3 personas. Nos estuvo enseñando las distintas especies de plantas y animales que tiene por allí. Muy recomendable para los amantes de las orquídeas y de los pájaros

Si te gustan las orquídeas, este sitio es un santuario! Bibiana nos atendió personalmente, es muy amable. nos enseñó todas las plantas en flor, pasamos un rato con ella charlando y viendo venir los pájaros a comer la fruta que les pone mientras esperábamos a que acabara de llover.
Pregunta por los libros que venden, seguro que encuentras alguno interesante.
Sin duda una vista indispensable sabiendo la labor que realizan.

Superbe travail réalisé par ces bénévoles qui ont déjà réintroduit plus de 2000 orchidées dans leurs forêts.
