Bodhi Hostel and Lounge

Stayed in the 15 bed dorm but doesn't feel like it is a big dorm. There's space, and the curtains make the bed feel private. 3 tier beds aren't a big deal in my opinion. Air con at night kept the room cool. Lots of chill out spaces in the back, and we'll equipped kitchen. Free breakfast was delicious - had French toast... Yum! Would stay here again and recommend to others.

We stayed in the 15-people-dorms for 4 nights. The curtains on the bed made it feel much more private. The kitchen is well equipped, having basically all you could need. The location is perfect, and the people are great. In the garden, you can really calm down or connect with other travellers. There was one tour planned for each day, which you could sign up for. The included breakfast is freshly made - It tastes really good.
All in all, it is a great space to spend a couple of days.

Really liked it here! Lovely back garden to relax in and space with a tv to do yoga or workout! Breakfast of French toast was amazing and staff super friendly! Daily activities like movie nights or hikes aswell!

Breakfast is plentiful, and filling. Coffee on tap during the morning as well. Excellent kitchen that is very well equipped.
Daily activity (bar Monday's) that is facilitated by a volunteer.

This is a perfect hostel for Valle de Anton. Shout out to Thomas for being the perfect hostel volunteer. Jacob was efficient on check in, and very friendly.

We really enjoyed our time at bodhi.
We had a separate room upstairs where we shared our kitchen and bathroom with 3 other rooms. But not many used the kitchen upstairs, and the bathroom was always available. Must ppl stay downstairs. The staff was really nice. We rented bicycles for a day from bodhi.

Awesome place to spend a night or two. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Great parking and very safe.

I could say that it is my favorite hostel in El Valle de Antón, I have gone 3 times already, I have slept in the dorms and in the private rooms and I always have a good experience, I will continue to go as many times as I can go, the atmosphere is very warm and the staff is cool. It is a very central place, close to supermarkets, restaurants, zoo and pharmacies.

Such a cute hostel! Staff is amazing, super friendly and international, they have a super cute garden / chill area, you can do yoga all day long, they have fun activities and are super helpful! And omg they even make vegan breakfast... Would always come back ☺

Love it. Good location, near shops and all activities, very centered. The atmosphere is awesome. Sleeping is great, it is a over all cool experience and definitely attracts cool people to hang out with, go in hikes and eat out, check out the zoo near by. Make sure you are ready for sushine and rain.

This hostel is absolutely amazing!!! I cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are super nice and all of the staff are so kind and helpful. We had salsa lessons, live music, and there is a cafe in the hostel that makes the best smoothies!! The breakfast is also so good and the vibe of the hostel is just spectacular. I have absolutely no complaints and I would love to come back one day!!

Lovely spot to stay in Anton Valley. Lived in the private room (shared bathroom) so can’t speak for the dorms. The room was clean and spacious, with good storage space. The shared bathroom was clean as well, the only thing is that there wasn’t much hot water in the showers. The breakfast (pancakes and fruit) were great and nice that coffee/tea is also included. And full kitchen pretty much so easy to cook your own meals, or if you prefer eating out the location is very central and surrounded by both restaurants and super markets. And good access to all the nearby hiking. The hostel also organizes 2 trips per day that you can sign up to join, rents bikes, and helps you out with whatever questions you have. Would highly recommend.

The staff here are superb! Nothing is too much effort and they are so friendly.

Top notch hostel. Attention to detail, spaciousness, cleanliness, comfort are all 10/10. Location also fantastic with shops agacent and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. If you're coming to hike and relax in El Valle - this is where you went to be!

Cool cafe but no food. Excellent smoothies made with fresh fruit and served in glass with metal straws.

Beds in shared rooms for $15 on weekdays and $17 on weekends. I would come back for the hostel experience.

This place is great. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. When we arrived they gave us a map with a bunch of great hikes marked and other recommendations. The hostel is very cozy with a great place to hangout, do yoga, play games. They have bikes you can rent for a reasonable price. And it’s right in the center of the valley. I Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!

Clean, friendly hostel. All the bunks have curtains and individual lights and fans. There's a nice seating area outside where travelers eat, mingle and play games. Good atmosphere among the guests when I was here. Staff serve pancakes and fruit in the morning, and they were good pancakes.

Great hostel to stay in when you're in El Valle. They have bikes for rent to get around easily, though everything is within walking distance. Each bed has its own curtains so there's lots of privacy, it comes with a fan and light too. Showers were perfect with the hot water especially when it gets chilly at night.

Amazing hostel with a beautiful ambience, super friendly stuff and good WiFi.
My girlfriend and me stayed here for 3 nights and they allowed us to camp with our own tent in the garden so we only had to pay 5$ per night and person, that was cool.
The hostel is beautiful and very cozy with a little garden were we enjoyed the daybeds a lot. In the morning there is a delicious breakfast with pancakes and coffee & tea and for „normal“ guests it’s even included. Although it wasn’t included for us we got it two times for free.
Stuff was friendly and nice to us all the time (especially Adrian, cheers :)) and were able to tell good recommendations for hikes around.
Additionally it’s mentionable that everything was totally clean all the time. The location is perfect for enjoying all of El Valle, we did the hikes „La India dormida“, „Cerro la silla“ and „Cerro Cariguana“. Besides that they were awesome we were able to start all from the hostel door by foot, we liked that a lot.

If we ever come again to El Valle we would definitely go there again, without hesitation!

Loved both the dorm and the private room experiences, shared showers and bathrooms were plentiful. The pancakes were tasty in the morning and the staff were all friendly and helpful. They had some great services and maps to help us explore El Valle easier."Whitey" (as we called him) the dog was a helpful companion that walked with us for many of our small adventures around town.

To begin: I had made a booking error and mixed up my dates. They reached out to me, corrected my error and welcomed me in the next night—no hassle or fees. Staff were polite and helpful but let you do your own thing. Nice shared spaces and simple but comfortable rooms. Good spot to read a book or mingle with travelers. Tasty pancakes in the morning. Decent cocktails too!
