Great place. Bit away from the city. If you have your own vehicle then you can reach easily. For public transport users be ready for a hike about 20-30 mins depending upon your speed.

Religious place around the valley. Temple is open until 11 in the morning and after 3 in the evening. You can also see the great view of Kathmandu Valley from here.

Very nice place,infact wonderful place. Its located in Tarkeshwor municipality and road access is also good. All type of vehicle can reach there or alternatively you can do a day hike also. You can go to the biggest Nepal flag site also from there.
Its a holy place and the ambience is good. People see it as a mini Badarinath Temple. Guru are very helpful and you can have peace of mind over there. You can choose to have food over there but need to be pre informed. I tried the food and it was the best.

It is a nice and peaceful religious place at outskirts of Kathmandu Valley near Kavresthali. The temple is a replica of holy Hindu temple Badrinath Dham, Uttarakhand, India. It was constructed in 1975 and is still developing. It covers an area of 1.47 ha and is situated on higher elevation than Kathmandu Valley. There is plan to construct replica of three more dhams and make the place where people can visit all four Dhams at one place. The place is slowly taking shape. It is a nice place which can reached by personal vehicle or by bus. Take #23 bus to Karesthali from NAC and hike for about half an hour. There are no restaurant or tea shop nearby.

This temple of lord Badrinarayan is the replica of Badrinath temple in India which is one of the four Chardham pilgrimage. The temple is beautiful with bright colours. The road to this temple is also good.

It is going to be a demanding Dham for all Hindu people in no time. A plausible replication of Badrinath temple of India.
A truly big parking, bathrooms, washrooms, resting hall, fooding ( pre-booking needed) ,water taps are available...and it seems many more are likely to be added.
Road:. Every section are being prepared/repaired. But the work is going good and it seems it will complete soon. No problem for two wheelers..they can reach any time.
Hotels: very few / (like not at all)
Scene: excellent view of valley

Great and Holy place for Hindus. Located in near to kathmandu. It takes approx 30 min from Buspark. The road not so good now, but local government is improving it. Local scene is great to visit.

Shantidham lies in kavresthali, Kathmandu. It is one of the best place in Kathmandu. If anyone is unable to visit badrinath in India, then this is the best place one should visit. You can go there by public vechicle and hike for 20-25 minutes or you can take your own private vechicle to the temple parking. The sish Mahal is the most beautiful part of this place. You can enjoy good view of Kathmandu from here.
