Good place to take a ride & drive. Just few hrs from the city. Do take your own food because there is not much option for eating there.

Extremely beautiful place to visit!! You have to pay entry fee to reach here though! Ride majaley jancha natra you can go by walking! You can see the beautiful mountain view akash khuleko bela ani monsoon ma clouds haru nai dami!!

Located nearby Kathmandu, it is such an amazing place to enjoy mountains and fresh air. Perfect place for refreshment time with friends & family. Adequate places, small hotels available here.

Its not my first or second trip to suryachaur. Its my fourth and im loving it. Its the quick ride to sauryachaur. It will take about an hour of slow ride to reach there from kathmandu. You can stop on jhor and conti ue to sauryachaur. Its a shivapuri national park and the ticket would cost you some cash. But yes its a nearest place to break your busy life spend a day pulling clean air in. Roads are well build but the end of 10 minutes of the road are offroad so i prefer no scooty. Bikes and bikes. Yeah must go place. Air, clouds and many many other famous things around it. Love it. It is what it is. :)

Great place! Such an amazing view! Would love to go back again again! Earth road is narrow, I have seen people traveling on bikes, scooters and even a small hatchback cars. Lots of small restaurants for dal-bhat and even a little guest-house for night stay. But do not expect them to be fancier. Fantastic views of great himalayan mountains from Langtang range to Annapurna range in the west.

100% recommended for short getaway from Kathmandu.

Best place to hangout with friends, family, even alone too with mesmerising view from the top(1970m). We can camp there, have picnic.

This place is very suitable for picnic and the view is amazing and the entry fee for suryachaur is 100 perperson and scooter bike fee is 150 overall 250 and the road is gravel.

Best for short trekking destination

30 mins short hike from gurjebhanjhyang. If you want a easy hike feel with awesome views. Please do visit suryachaur. Nuwakot Valley is beautiful.

Place is quite amazing.... it's a good place for sight seeing and also a place nearby ktm to rest for a day....I think this place is quite enjoyable during winter.... Road condition is quite bad after GurjeBhanjyang,all offroad..so during summer,it will be hard to come here..It is quite cold during evening,hands start to shiver,so wear warm clothes and go to this place..but mostly.hike from GurjeBhanjyang...its worth..
