This is one of the historical place situated here in kathmandu ,Tokha this is the place where people celebrate the new year with a different colours called (Tokha bisket jatra) in every year 1st baishak to 5th of baishak. This area is covered by the ethics group of Newar community.
There you can see many statue of gods and goddess . After the end of these jatras there you can see another event called (Tokha mauttsab) and in this event you can see there many old varieties of food items of Newari food items like :Tokha chakku , yomari , chuweala , etc . Tokha chaku is very popular food item nationally or internationally also. There you can see many historical events of Newar's.
