Hema

HEMA is the store for everything and also for food. They're cakes and pastries are delicious. Especially they're tompoucen. They're bread is fresh baked. They're rookworsten are worldfamous. They also sell complete meals, wine, bubbles, fresh fruits. Everything you need for your dinner. Ofcourse they also sell sweets, drop, chocolates, crisps and other snacks. They only sell their own HEMA brand. It's easy to choose and good quality.

Nice staff. They didn’t have the orange Tompouce in the front so she went and checked with the kitchen if they have in the back and got me some it was so nice of her.

When in Utrecht, this is my favourite place to stop by to have something to eat before going on home. They have a nice selection of dishes at very reasonable price. I mostly have stamppot with a meatball and gravy. Dessert and milky coffee after. They also serve rolls and hot snacks, so there is enough to choose from for everyone. Good quality and generous portions. Good value for money. Recommended.

Love Hema! Bit of everything! Make up & face cleansers are very good quality & inexepensive, the nail varnish lasts very well & doesn't chip! The food hall always has some nice choices & good offers. The cafe is fab for a quick basic lunch, tasty traditional food at a good price!

Good cafeteria in the back, and well-stocked and maintained store. I'm especially thankful for the staff's help when the zipper broke on my bag and I lost my jacket in their store - they quickly helped me find it!

This is a very nice Hema in Utrecht. In the centrum right on the canal. It has two floors with escalators but not cramped at all. Most Hema's are large and very open space but this one takes it a step further.

Doors in the front and back are a nice feature as well...plus with better ventilation. Hot food and drinks. Lots of wine and beer (to go) too! What's not to like. They had every kind of stroopwafel I didn't even know existed! Lots of candies and cakes too. Lekker!

They do have everything from bike parts to socks as well.

Of course things are a bit different during Corona times, but let's hope Hema keeps these big stores in expensive areas open.

Worth checking out when you're right in the center and a 10 minute walk from the train station (through the mall).

Dutch discount retail chain. The chain is characterized by relatively low pricing of generic housewares, which are mostly made by and for the chain itself, often with original design. I like that sometimes you can find unique stuff for daily use in here.

Great stuff and food at a really good price. The restaurant at the first floor is very nice and you can enjoy the view. Pretty much the only place where you can easily find stamppot in Utrecht!

Very nice an spacious store with a bunch of simpathetic and nice employees. It stores a variety of products, from cosmethics, kitchenware, various home utensils, home decorations, some clothes and seasonal products (seaside stuff, schoolware etc.).
This store has a really huge caffe as well.

The best shop for everything and everyone. Great prices and excellent to grab something to eat for lunch, fresh and economic. Best place to buy presents with a good price like chocolates, stropwaffles,wine. The best shop so far with everything included.

A Netherlands classic. Cheap and reliable. You need underwear, they have it. You need a salad, they got it. You need bike lights... do I need to say anything anymore? Hema is a life-saver. I buy things from here frequently.

Easy access for pedestrians and cyclists at the heart of shopping area in Utrecht. Great assortiment, reasonable priced. There's a food corner and a self service restaurant.

Cute stuffs for gifts and everyday use. I love their cafe, sandwiches and instant mix products for baking.

Mica shop, it has everything, from clothes for babies, children, men and women, to tools, paper stuff, restaurant....everything. prices are good and staff is really nice and helpful
