Baggage Locker

The baggage lockers are a life saver. I purchased items duty-free from Rome. I had a flight from Rome to Amsterdam and then to Atlanta, GA. My flight from Amsterdam back to the states was cancelled due to a mechanical issue. If I left the airport with my duty free purchases from Rome, I would not have been allowed to bring them with me the following day, especially since I was not allowed to retrieve my checked baggage. I wanted to place my duty-free purchases in my checked luggage. Prior to leaving the airport, I placed my duty-free purchases in a locker. I returned to the airport the following day, retrieved my duty-free purchases and boarded my flight back to the U.S. The pictures I included in this post were photos to help me to locate the lockers.

If you're are in Amsterdam for a short visit or your flight is late in the night and you have checked out of your hotel early, then don't worry. Just state your bag here and enjoy your day at Amsterdam. Price list in the photos.

The location is down in the basement. There is an elevator. We dropped off our bag for our day trip around town. When we got back there was two people in front of us. The line went quick. We paid our 8€ and went back into the airport. Service was fine and they spoke good English.

Had a few hours to spare before my flight so dropped my bags off here before heading into Amsterdam Central. The location is convenient from the train stop. Just follow the signs and the locker is before entering airport departure zone. You drop off your bags and collect whenever your ready. Forgot the price I paid for 2 bags but not more than Euro5 per bag if not mistaken. Very good service and retrieved my bag very quickly upon return!

Convenient, reasonable way to store luggage so one does not need to schlep it on Amsterdam’s cobblestone streets.

Easy to use and really convenient since it is past security. They are tucked back by some bathrooms so keep an eye out.

Very handy if you have a Ling stop over in Amsterdam

Does what it says. Moderately priced.

Useful for long layovers in Amsterdam if you want to leave the airport and explore the city.

Unfortunately it is a 24HR flat rate price, so even if you only need the locker for 4/5 hours, it'll still be the full 8 euros.

Also in my opinion, the locations of the lockers across the two halves of AMS are not very well indicated on the in airport maps.

Nothing special

I can't technically give less than a star. The emloyees (i presume since they have access to the bags) stole all the cash I had in the luggase (about 500 euro). It was during a layover so I tried to report to the airport security, they just told me to contact police. Since I left Europe for over a year I could not do that. Be wary, don't leave anything valuable with these people!
