Rijksmuseum Schiphol

During our layover at Schiphol Airport, we discovered the Rijksmuseum Schiphol on the airport map and decided to visit. The museum features a collection of beautiful paintings, including Rembrandt’s works. It is a tranquil and pleasant place to relax during the hustle and bustle of air travel.

I had 5 hours to wait for my connecting flight; so learning that there’s a “museum” in the airport just a great find! It’s a long walk from where my waiting gate was, but it’s worth visited!
It’s only maybe less than 10 pieces of paintings, great idea: thank you Schiphol!

A haven of peace, except for the kids playing on the play equipment just outside. An upholstered bench seat provided, just like a real museum. Relax. Note, you can only come to the museum if you are in the international part of the airport. If you are in the Schengen section you cannot visit it.

A mini museum in an airport. Perfect pause when waiting for your next flight! Although it only shows a few paintings, but it's a wonderful teaser to the main attraction - Making people curious as to what they can experience at the main Rijmuseum.

Vreme posete: kraj februara, početak marta 2024. god.
Deo dugog vremena čekanja na aerodromu između dva leta, iskoristili smo za posetu Rijksmuseum Schiphol.
Kada već nije bilo dovoljno vremena za bezbedan izlazak do grada i povratak, ovo je bila jedinstvena prilika da vidimo malu muzejsku postavku.
Tu se nalazi desetak originalnih klasičnih slika, remek-dela, holandskih umetnika.
U vreme naše posete, tema postavke je bila "postavljanje trpeze" i bile su izložene slike poznatih umetnika iz XVII veka.
Muzej se nalazi na terminalu Schiphol, u prostoru iza pasoške kontrole, na bulevaru Holand, između pristaništa E i F.
Veoma smo uživali u poseti i skratili dugo čekanje na najlepši i najkorisniji način.

Gratuito, informativo y te permite descubrir maestros neerlandeses menos conocidos a través de la pintura. Genial idea la de poner una pequeña pinacoteca en el aeropuerto, y un surtido bazar de regalos para el visitante.
