I love this Sixt location due to highly efficient employees and the largest variety of cars so you will always find “the one “ fitting your needs. I would like to give my special thanks to Vladyslava, who provided an excellent customer service and really made me feel as a value customer.. I am coming back to Sixt mainly because of a customer service and employees like Vladyslava..Needless to say that my next car rental ( literally tomorrow from Amsterdam West) will be with SIXT

Good and fast service, although when we delivered back the car they didn’t make the reception on spot and later they have mentioned in the returning papers that the car has the gasoline tank at 7/8 even the car was delivered with full gas tank. Anyway till now no extra charge was applied. On the other side the car was new (200km) and very pleasant to drive.

Great customer service, great and clean hybrid car. We’re given an upgrade which was so helpful as one of our children is tall. We are however able that Sixt charges additional driver fee for spouse, even though Sixt website says no fee for US residents (Note it doesn’t say US locations).

Fleur was especially helpful and kind to us when we first arrived at the Sixt counter in Schiphol Airport. We are not from The Netherlands and we were really stressed about our car reservation before arriving. However, Fleur reassured us and was very helpful in working out the details of our accommodation and upgrading us to the right car for our road trip. This branch has improved in the last couple of years I rent cars. Professional assistance, very knowledgeable and friendly crew, good maintained cars. The amount and the variety of cars available is also a positive aspect of this branch.

Hi there, we rented a car from Sixt during our summer vacation to Netherlands. Airport front counter staff (Misael) was very friendly and helpful walking us through rules and paperwork. Also Sixt car delivery people were great. The only downside was that brand new Jeep Compass had faulty belt lock and front panel kept ringing (new technology !). The car was replaced with another Jeep Compass and after couple days there was similar problem with rear seat belts. I still gave them 5 stars because Sixt staff was great.

The pickup was a bit difficult as my wife is bound to a wheelchair and to pickup the car from the arrival hall it’s a very long way to walk. Doing this while pushing a wheelchair and a trolley with suitcases it becomes a bit harder than normal, so we solved that by playing trains - I pushed the wheelchair and my wife pushed the trolley.
The car we had, a Ford Puma hybrid, was perfect for our holiday in Europe very economical 5.2L/100km over almost 4500kms, in excellent condition just the little damages as recorded by Sixt, very easy to drive.
We didn’t look forward to returning the vehicle as the walk from the return place to the departure hall would be a struggle again and I’m not the youngest anymore to do all the pushing of the wheelchair including a trolley with suitcases on my own anymore. So what do you know, upon return of the car (which by the way went smoothly and very easy) we were met by a very friendly and helpful Sixt employee (Dario is his name and comes from Italy), he assisted me and my wife all the way to the departure hall by pushing the trolley with suitcases so I had only my wife to care for. What an absolute pleasure to meet this kind gentleman, he was full of talks and laughs while going to the departure hall. Before we left another very friendly staff member offered us take away coffee for our walk to the departure hall, how is that for service! Upon return in Australia I received an email with an invoice for an additional €154 but upon checking the invoice I saw that the cost for guaranteed GPS was charged but we never requested this as we always use our phones with Google Maps, I wrote to Sixt and within hours we received an email with apologies and a credit note that the extra charge would be refunded into our account - great.

Absolutely fantastic service by Sixt Amsterdam Airport. We rented ourselves a stunning grey metallic BMW 320i for a price so low we didn’t know it existed. The first vehicle smelled of cigarettes. Swiftly we received another vehicle of the same model and colour. Pickup and return were super easy to find. You can see the bright orange Sixt neon lights in the parking garage for miles. Make sure to use the toilet before you depart as the way back from the rental place is a long walk.

I booked with another company and sadly due to misunderstandings, couldn't pick up the car. Thankfully, Sixt came along and helped us ensure that I could get a car that day! We had the unmatched service of the wonderful Zari at the terminal 2 arrivals at Amsterdam Schipol airport. With her help, we managed to secure a car for that same day and it ensured that our trip plans were not affected! Thank you very much to all the staff at Sixt and rest assured I will defo be back again!

Three employees at the rental desk, so no lines. Very friendly and service minded. Clear what you get and not get regarding car, kilometers and insurance. Paperless office. I got a very nice BMW iX as I had a model guarantee. No issues. Unfortunately with an electric car you must take car of a charge pass yourself. Fastned allows you to use your phone and pay via iDeal.
