BB&L Car Rental

This is a fantastic way of renting a car! The pickup is right at the airport, you basically walk straight to your car after some very quick paperwork in the hall. The car is new, clean, and the pricing is great given that everything is included (insurance, GPS, additional drivers if needed, most of Europe coverage). Drop off is simple too, even though I had a bit of a wait. This was the first time I used this rental agency, and it is going to be my default way of getting a car in Holland. Thanks BB&L!

Update in 2023: the procedures for pickup and drop off has changed a bit since last time I posted (for the better!) and the service is still 5 stars quality. Great way to rent a car in Holland!

Excellent experience with BB&L.
The reservation was a lot cheaper than the big names so we had doubts, but everything was perfect. A very new car was brought to us right outside the terminal. Clean and fully fuelled, plus it was a hybrid so saved us a lot of money on our trip. Customer service was great, all communications very clear, pricing is transparent and without the usual 20 minutes of up-selling insurance etc that you get with other companies. Who needs that after a long flight???!!! And an easy drop off too. As others have mentioned, the desk is shared with Europcar and could be easier to find but we fount it and couldn't be happier.

Highly recommended! Straight forward service, no hidden costs and ridiculous high deposit. We didn’t refuel the car, and we were charged a fair amount for petrol only - that was really nice surprise! Can’t imagine to hire car in Amsterdam from somebody else - Thanks BB&L

I have been renting cars for more than 6 years every year that I am on vacation in Amsterdam. Always with brand new cars and excellent service. Highly recommended.

A little tricky to locate the both at the airport- look for AVIS…
But apart from that a GREAT car rental experience.
The cars were clean, in great condition (including navigation system), no charge for additional driver.
The communication with the team was plesent before, during and when returning the car back.

Tip: ask nicely to be dropped of at the terminal after the car is returned to avoid a long walk.

We have been using BB&L car rental for the last 9 years when we visit The Netherlands and they are fantastic. Great customer service, the cars are fantastic and great price. Our last experience they gave us the the top of the range Kia hybrid which saved us heaps on fuel. We would highly recommend using them.

First time we rented a car with this company and not the last time. The price was great, new car, all insurances included and no charge for an extra driver. No surprises when you pick up the car. Most rental companies are trying to sell all kinds of insurances because the car is coming with a basic insurance. The desk is hard to find, maybe let people know that you can find the desk at Schiphol Airport at Europcar. Check in was quick and easy. Had to wait a couple minutes before someone took us to the car which was parked in front of the door. It would be great if they explained a little bit more about the car instead of handing out the keys and walk away. Returning was quick and easy.

Not only do they have a GPS in their rental cars there is also no extra charge for extra drivers !

This is the first time I write a review on google, I am a Dutch National living abroad. I travel often and have rented cars with all the big names before I came across BB&L.

They pride themselves for being open and transparent with the price without any hidden cost. This almost looked to good to be true but after booking a rental for a week and changing the order last minute due to sudden change of my travel back to NL, I can safely say that if you want to rent a car for a good price without having to worry about anything I would recommend this company!

What can you say about them? They are everything you wish a rental car experience could be. Clear pricing, no upselling, easy pickup & return, full insurance as part of the price, multi-driver allowed, GNSS, no BS trying to rip you off for gas, good rental cars, etc. All of this and it cost less than everyone else.

I received a new, very clean car for a much chipper price comparing with the other car agencies at Schiphol airport.
Their desk location and parking location is very easy to find and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have rented from BBl on four occasions over the past few years. Most times we take a car for about a month from Schiphol. Each time we received great service, great vehicle and the experience from beginning to end was flawless. Last year we booked a car for five weeks, however covid interrupted our travel plans and we had to cancel, not just our car but hotels and flights for that extended trip. We were fortunate that all our bookings were cancelled without cost, including our BBL booking which was prompt. Thank you for your understanding. As soon as Australia allows us to travel again, BBL will be hearing from us.

Went to the Netherlands for one week and looked around Google for a bit and compared the prices of all the car rental companies I could find.
BB&L was not only the cheapest, but they included everything other companies wanted to charge me extra for.
Pick up was easy, return was just as easy.
Everyone at the company was service minded and great to deal with.

Rented a few times, car from BB&L to travel to different countries. They always provide a fresh car. Very simple and honest, all inclusive pricing policy and much more easy car pick up and drop right in Schiphol Airport. Just signing a simple form the car is all set to go !!

This is the second time we have used BB&L and again they are excellent. This should be the standard for all car rental companies. They meet you at the airport, the car is steps away outside, sign the form and leave. Return to your Departure terminal, you are met outside, hand over the keys and leave. Why can't it always be so simple.
As we no longer own a car, but use car rental companies throughout the year, I can assure readers they are the best.

We have rented a few times with BB&L and have loved every experience with them! Prompt service, courteous people and clean cars with everything included.......even extra drivers over the age of 24.
No waiting in line-ups in front of car rental offices, they wait for you in terminal 3 and walk you up to your car. Many car rental companies can learn from this service oriented company!!

We will never rent cars through any other company in The Netherlands.....wish they would be world wide:-)

We rented a Seat station wagon for a week at Schiphol Airport outside of Amsterdam and it was a great car and the folks at BB&L did everything necessary to insure that we had a great experience. The nice thing was that it had a GPS that was invaluable and I didn't have to pay extra for. I'm heading back to Europe and wish that they had a presence in France!! I'd use them again and recommend them.

Rented a car from BB&L in May. My experience was excellent. The price was very competitive and included everything I wanted (insurance, GPS). Customer service was friendly and no hassle. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Great Experience! I needed a car for two days, thus I made my research on the car rental companies. After reading all the negative reviews about the other companies I was horrified. BB&L was the only one with positive references. They lived up to all of my expectations, quick service even though I arrived half an hour earlier, no hidden costs, I recieved clean well kept car. All you could possibly need from rental company! :)
