citizenM Schiphol Airport hotel

Booked this for one night after a fight to Schiphol airport. It was a great choice and much cheaper than the other two airport hotels in walking distance of the terminal. This is about 5-7 minutes walk and there are some signs in the airport directing you. The airport has a supermarket and lots of shops/eateries of course. Check in was automated and worked fine. The hotel and rooms are modern and clean. There is a tablet to control most functions in the room including the light colour. The room is tiny but well laid out. There is nowhere to open up your suitcase. The bed is very large but you can only get out on one side as it is against the window. Shower and AC work well. Trendy lobby with artwork and sculptures. Carpets are a red print of Amsterdam from above!

Perfect for an overnight layover as it’s so close to the airport! Check in was very simple and easy and the room was really cool! Loved the little iPad to control the lights and blinds. Also the bed is HUGE! It was also nice to have a view of the planes taking off and landing. Absolutely would stay there again.

Fun and quirky hotel with a lovely vibe and a great location. Room was clean and comfortable and well thought out. Staff were helpful, although we had wanted to request a runway view and the staff member who came to "help" check in (which we hadn't asked for) skipped that page without asking, leading to a disappointment for my husband who had been hoping to watch the planes. Loved the lounge areas downstairs, spent a pleasant evening reading with a drink in one of them after a busy day in Amsterdam. (Two night stay for us).

everything works quickly and systematically, it’s incredibly close and convenient to get to the airport. I definitely recommend it, the price is a little high, but you will get an understanding of why here

especially we like the absolutely black curtain so that we could have a great rest from the road...

Perfect for short stay. Kind personnel! Super shower in the room, remind to apply red O-rings to the shower to let it easy to operate water ;)

This hotel i great. This is our 4th time here and we already have the 5th time booked. We choose it all the time for his convenient location - 5 min walk to/ from the airport. It is amazingly clean and the bed is the most comfortable one we have ever slept on. This time around, we had the best surprise. Although it was barely 10 am, we were able to check in with no additional charge. Very highly appreciated especially after a 10 hours flight over the pond. I could not give them enough 5 starts. Hope nothing is changing in the future.

Awesome hotel walking distance to the airport, rooms are small and not much area to hang anything up, but plenty of under the bed storage, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location has food and bar area with plenty of vending machines for drinks and snacks. The shower had plenty of hot water and the bed and pillows were super comfortable 10/10 for the sleeping.

Ok. So be warned that if you are staying with someone in the same room, be it family, friend or lover, if not comfortable pooping or peeing right next to the bed with minimal privacy… probably not for you. Same for the shower. For a single room, it was perfect. Five minute easy walk from the airport. Food 24-hours in the nice bar. Easy check in. Choice of rooms upon check in. Quiet for me on the 1st floor facing the airport.

Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel was very modern. I was able to check in very early. I had the option of choosing my room with either an airport or city view. The staff were super friendly. The only issue was the room size. The room was very small and there was very little space to walk as the toilet and shower cabins are tightly spaced. I can't compare it to other local hotels, but given the city struggles with accommodation, probably the same for the price.

Was looking for a place to sleep before my extremely early flight. I'm happy I chose this place! Close to the airport, large enough rooms that feel quite luxurious en very friendly staff.

The only little "negative" thing I could think about was the absence of small breakfast options like a single croissant or breakfast cookie for the people who need to leave before the official breakfast starts.

Super modern hotel. Small rooms but is there. High tech for the lights etc. 500 meter from the airport and great service and breakfast. The place to go if you need a stay nearby the airport

Hands down the best experience we have had at a hotel. Flight got cancelled, so our booking was super last minute. A relatively short wallimg distance to the airport terminals. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we even managed to watch the last race of the Formula One season in one of the conference rooms. Menu prices are reasonable, the rooms even though having a rather interesting layout had all the things you'd need. We also got the rooms overlooking the apron,so that was an additional perk.

Good rooms. That everything had to be handled by the iPad was a bit annoying, since we where 2. Meaning that things like light and TV where on the same control. It was nice and close to the airport, just a short walk, which was nice.

We stayed here for 1 night because we arrived at Schiphol in the middle of the night and could not take a train home to the south of NL. Were pleasantly greeted at the lobby! Will definitely use this hotel again when needed. Just 3 minute walk from Schophol.

We stayed here when we got stuck with an extra long layover. Room on the small side, but it's clean, quiet, and super conveniently located to AMS (250 meters from the arrival 4 exit at Schipol). My only complaint is that there is no in room coffee maker for the morning.

13 minutes to the airport, Cozy rooms with a great panoramic windows, smart rooms equipped with tablets that control the TV, blinds, temperature and lighting. Guests have access to a shared living area with designer furniture and iMac computers. Elegant 24-hour café. Great hotel, I recommend it

Bang next to the terminal building of the airport and can be reached by a brisk 5 minute walk. You have a self help device where you checkin and select your room. As an aviation geek i jumped on the opportunity by selecting a room facing the tarmac on the higher floors. Rooms were clean with amazing views of the terminal and taxiway. An heaven for Avgeeks. Design of room was a bit odd as you have to navigate in between shower cubicle and the toilets to get to the door. Bedding was amazing and it does its job by providing a good night’s sleep.

Small room but modern and clean very convenient for an early flight

Great hotel to stay at if you need to get a early flight. It is a self check in but there is some one to help too. Lovely lounges on bottom floor. Restaurant has a wide spread to choose from. Everything is effortlessly run by wonderful staff. Less than 10 Min walk to departure hall. Take a trolley if you have lots of luggage.

Stayed for two nights - the location was ideal, just minutes from Schiphol Airport, and a quick 20-minute train ride to Amsterdam Central Station.

The staff was fantastic, from check-in to check-out, and the bar tenders at the canteen were also impressive.

The room was satisfactory, the bed was superb, and the ability to control features with an iPad or their phone app was a cool touch!

Would definitely come back.
