I have been working and partly living here in the Netherlands for the last 3 years. And I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants I have experienced here.
Without any doubt, the best service I have seen here in the Netherlands. They had an eye on all their guest in order to make sure no one was waiting too long.

This is probably the best restaurant I have been to in the netherlands so far. The terrasse is absolutely lovely and the food is very very good. I also find the price very affordable for what you get!
They have a very nice options that let's you choose a shared set of entrees and you get a lot of small portions of everything. It's great!
I cannot recommend it enough and can't wait to bring more people there. I guess the only downside is you need a car to come eat here!

We were very lucky to get a table for Sunday lunch without having made a reservation. Super friendly staff, great food. I loved the house blonde beer brewed for the restaurant by the Jopen brewery. We'll definitely come back here, and then we'll make sure to have a reservation.

Nice little gem in Spaarndam. Food is excellent as well as the drinks. Really like the decor and how simple yet stylish the place is. Prices are not low, but reflect the quality of what's on offer. Really recommended.

De Kolk was the finest dinner I’ve had in some time. I enjoyed the modern exploration of Dutch Herring, as well as unbelievably buttery and flavorful And buttery Schol. We were pleasantly surprised even to find out that the owner had been our waiter all night. He was so helpful in navigating the menu with recommendations as well as translating for us (since we can only speak English). I should mention that even the Bitterballen we ordered for our daughter were the best we’ve had on our trip in the Netherlands.

Cute and cozy restaurant at the center of spaarndam, went here for dinner . The atmosphere was very welcoming, everyone was so kind and accommodating of my strict diet, the chefs made all my dishes vegan. I will come back again for sure when im in the country again.
