Car Rental Amsterdam - Airport Schiphol

... great value for money. exit the arrivals area and look for hotel shuttle waiting area 15, the instruction says A15, but we couldn't find A15. pls see photos. the shuttle bus is 8 seaters only and the rental office is in Hoofddorp area next to a BP fuel station. friendly staff, no issues encountered, no pushy sales talk, pleasant experience.

Everything is fine for the low price. Transfer to the airport works flawlessly, cars are clean and operational. The personnel is quite friendly and helpful. And most of all, there is no cheating and unfair small print. I was given an upgraded car of a higher segment for the same price. Would take this rent a car once more again in the future.

Second time renting here. Good prices, descent cars. Friendly staff. No problems at all.

Be aware that in Holland a full insurance coverage is not included at most car rental companies. Neither are winter tires. You will have to pay extra for this. As well as for crossing borders. So inform well before renting a car anywhere :-)

Ok so first I booked a car via rentalcars and only then bothered to see reviews. Honestly I was worried (if not scared) by those. Surprisingly my actual experience was as smooth as possible. The staff was helpful and the service fast, no unexpected charges, no nit-picking, even fuel costs on the station next to parking were cheaper than I'm used to in this area (opposite to what some of the reviews say). The only drawback was the border-crossing charge (which I was not aware of) but this honestly I should've thought about in advance.

Perfect. Called as we went through passport control and the shuttle bus was at the collection point just a few moments after us. He took us straight to the collection point and processed our car rental straight away into a brand new Fiat 500.

- One thing which was a little dodgy was that they tried to charge for an upgraded spec (air con, cruise control & nav) which I declined, only for him to give me the upgraded spec car! Which was a bit of a bonus, but felt like a bit of a scam!

That said, everything else was a breese. Just be prepared to have a little delay getting to and from the airport at busy times.

Will definitely use again... Infact I'm booked in again on Saturday !

We rented a car for 8 days, it was the by far cheapest. In the website it said Ford Fiesta or equivalent, we got a Clio SW, which was almost new with apprx. 6000 km stand. There were couple of small damages in/on the car, and I took some pictures to be sure that I won't be charged for them. When we brought the car back, it was already clean ofc, it took them 3-4 min to check it, and everything was done. We took the shuttle to the Schipol Airport. I would like to thank Dennis who was helpful and clear to us. If you are a good customer, Dollar is an ok place to rent a car.

Pick up and drop service is very prompt. Only issue is the fleet, very very limited availability. But compared to the monetary part, it is a good to go. I would definitely recommend it if the car is pre-booked.

Happy about the service. A bit of problem while finding the stop for transfer on Airport as there is no signs. 10 mins travel time to Dollar office from Airport. This is my second time of using them. Happy with services

After a very disappointing experience with Green Motion because they did not accept my Mexican driver licence , we went back to Dollar as before. After 10 minutes we were out with the car and we had 5 to choose from. Now for the 4th.straight year, thanks Dollar.

I have to be Honest, i had a very good fast service, and have hired many a car over the years and long distance's as well, no problem what so ever. In fact good service.

Amazingly satisfied with my brand new fabia, nice staff, cheap price, shuttle bus service. everything. When reached the office I get the car like in 3 minutes. I will again and again rent it from here
