We had an excellent 6-course dinner here. The dishes were interesting and of a very high quality. The scallop dish was our favourite but they were all excellent.

Cocktails were equally good. Very nice and original combinations. We also really appreciated the free water provided which is sadly not standard.

The decor is nice and the service was attentive. 6 courses in approx 2,5 hours was a good pace for us as well. Will certainly revisit when back in Groningen.

The cocktails are incredible here. The staff makes them in front of your own eyes and puts a lot of passion into the pressure. The atmosphere is very soothing and relaxing, with a retro decor and smooth jazz music on. Especially with a Wednesday cocktail night, this place is definitely worth (re)visiting!

Elegant restaurant and cocktail bar located in the heart of Groningen, easily accessible from the station or Grote Markt.

Bar 1672 is probably the only place in Groningen where you can have amazing food and enjoy great cocktails at the same time. Their concept is all about share dining so I decided to pick 4 dishes from the menu which I shared with my friend. The food quality and attention to detail for the presentation of the dishes were outstanding. Nick, our waiter, was very kind to explain everything we needed to know and picked just the right wines to pair. Their wine selection was also excellent. We had a glass of champagne to start with and then moved on to an amazing chardonnay.

The portions were just right and the timing was good. Everything was perfect.

I had heard from friends that bar 1672 had a great selection of cocktails so after dinner I decided to try one. Again, I was not disappointed. The ingredients were fresh and the flavour was delicious.

I am difficult to satify but what can I say? Bar 1672 is a hidden gem to discover. Try it out, you will not be disappointed.

Me and my friends were here on a calm Saturday night. The food was delicious especially for the pricing. The waiters knew a lot about the wine pairings and make great specialty cocktails.

Lovely chique styled atmosphere with a semi-dimmed jazz vibe with matching music. Very friendly personnel and above all great quality food. Will definitely be coming back again.

Came for drinks quite late in the evening so I can't comment on the food, but there was a nice range of creative and tasty cocktails, and the decor is really cool/interesting.

We had a beautiful closing of the evening taking cocktails at the upper floor on the sofa. The furniture and the style of the location is very good looking, seem to be in the film "the great Gatsby"!
The barman is very knowledgeable, he made me a delicious cocktail with mezcal after some indication about my taste. Fantastic service!!

Fantastic service, food and atmosphere. The Tuna was amazing and the service was so friendly and warm. Highly recommended.

Great fresh food for a really good price and the staff is very friendly and professional. It's unbelievable that the place was not full on a Friday evening.

Very kind staff, fun concept and they know their drinks. Both nice for dining as well as a grabbing a drink with friends!

Great bar.. with exceptional good food

Wow! Dieses Restaurant kann ich jedem empfehlen, der sich einen Abend mal was richtig schönes gönnen möchte. Die Drinks waren eine 10/10; sehr originell und teilweise in Geschmacks Kombinationen, die man so nicht alle Tage trinkt. Zu dem waren alle Speisen die wir bestellt haben nicht nur geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut, sondern dazu auch äußerst liebevoll angerichtet und präsentiert. Der Geschmack konnte bei jeder Speise mehr als punkten! Der Laden war allerdings total leer, außen und innen saßen in den 1 1/2 Stunden die wir hier verbracht haben vielleicht 3 Leute. Das hat uns erst etwas verwundert, jedoch wurden alle Zweifel direkt wieder genommen, nachdem der erste Cocktail serviert wurde. Wirklich ein tolles Lokal, wir werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen, scheint vielleicht noch ein Geheim Tipp zu sein!

Wow! Wirklich eine 10/10!
Ich war mit meiner Partnerin da und wir hatten uns mehrere Gerichte hintereinander geteilt - das hat super geklappt und ist ein tolles Konzept! Erst waren wir etwa verwundert, da sowohl auf der Terrasse und im Restaurant quasi nichts los war.. nach den ersten Cocktails war diese Sorge allerdings verflogen, denn sie waren herausragen. Ebenso wie die servierten Speisen und die danach bestellten Cocktails. Ein wirklicher Juwel, wo man für einen fairen Preis viel probieren kann - und das mit einer tollen Qualität ind einem top service!!

Wat een fijne plek om een drankje te doen en om te eten! Super vriendelijk personeel en een ruime keuze aan (non) alcoholische dranken! Het concept van shared dinner is ook erg leuk en de smaken van de gerechten zijn verrassend. Al met al een echte aanrader! Oh en ook de borrelhapjes zijn heerlijk.

Voor ons jubileum waren we op zoek naar een nieuw restaurant. Wij kunnen enorm genieten van verrassingsmenu’s. Mede daarom koos ik voor dit restaurant. Het reserveren ging makkelijk en op zaterdagavond hadden ze een plekje voor ons gereserveerd. Wij mochten kiezen waar we wilde zitten en we kozen een plekje waar we op de bar en de rest van het restaurant konden uitkijken. Wat ons gelijk opviel was de inrichting en de fijne sfeer. Nadat we de menukaart kregen was de keuze snel gemaakt, we gingen voor de 7-gangen met een bijpassend Bob arrangement. Alle gangen en wijnen waren heerlijk. Anders dan bij andere restaurants kreeg je met z’n tweeën een gerecht dat je kon delen, dit was leuk en verrassend. De laatste gang, het dessert vonden we zo lekker dat we deze nog een keer hebben besteld. Ook de alcoholvrije cocktails waren goddelijk. Ons 8-jarig jubileum zullen we nooit vergeten!
