Vapiano

My first Italian restaurant to try here in Groningen but I love it right away.
My fave menu here is mushroom risotto with spicy tomato sauce and orange-chocolate cake. It was perfect for me.
The food is freshly made but it doesn't take long to be served.
Very convenient service with online order n payment system.
The location is also strategic, easy to find because it is also just beside landmark building Forum.
For me personally, I love the vibe because it plays 90s songs...best music of all times.

Vapiano is a great Italian restaurant that offers amazing food and an amazing location. The service is top-notch and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing Italian meal.

Good food for a cheap price, especially compared to most places in Groningen. You can always drop by to grab some food. It's very easy to order with your phone, and you pay instantly so you can easily share the bill and leave when you're done.
You get a variety of choices for the pasta and the portions are good.
The atmosphere is very cosy, you can watch the chefs 👨‍🍳 prepare your food or sit by the window to watch the city.

It is big restaurant and they have also added vegan dishes in their menu. The waitress was nice and polite. I went there with a friend on Saturday afternoon for late lunch.

We had food and dessert, it was good , pasta was delicious and pizza as well .
Good service, i just felt bad that they have to up and down stairs all the time .

Good restaurant!! Good price for the quality and amount. We ordered tartufo fusilli and salmon carbonara linguine. The ordering process is very easy (QR code)

Pizza was great! Very fast service, I got my food and drinks within 15 minutes of ordering. Although my friends order didn't go through right for some reason so they had to ask after 30 minutes of getting nothing. Other than that it was excellent! No problems with waiters and ordering or anything, just scan the QR code, pick what you want and pay! Location wise it's also really good, very close to the city centre.

Excellent all round. My first Vapianos happened to be abroad but thought very highly of the set up, staff, decor and above all food quality. Highly recommended.

Great place to have a good and quick Italian bite! I've had both pastas and pizzas here and they taste good, especially considering what you pay for them. They have a lot of space inside so you can always find a nice place to sit. Only downside if you sit upstairs is that you have to go downstairs to get your food. Luckily you don't have to wait too long. Their own brand of ice tea is tasty, give it a try.

It was lovely, the cocktails were better than expected and the food came quick, the price is good for the quantity.

Delicious dishes, I recommend Pasta Carbonara. It's relatively cheap, the restaurant is huge and the staff very friendly.

Vapiano is definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Netherlands. You can choose from a variety of Italian dishes, which in my experience all taste amazing!

Vapiano is not an ordinary restaurant. Instead of the food being brought to you, you have to order your food and get it yourself. All of your orders will be registered on a special chip card and you are buzzed when the food is ready. Even though this system may feel strange at first, I really like it because it gives you the freedom to move anywhere you would like.

The atmosphere is very cosy and the chairs are very comfortable.

Not only can you eat dinner at Vapiano but you can also eat your lunch here, since it opens at 12:00.

On top of all this the prices are incredibly low, considering the quality of the products. One pizza Margherita only costed 7.20 euros.

One of the best Italian restaurant in Groningen if not one of the best in general. The staff was friendly and the wait time was around 15 minutes.

The best place i ve eaten so far in Groningen.The tomato soup with croutons is delicious and the penne bolognese are full of flavour.10/10

Carbonara pizza was tasty

I've passed this place many times and it looked interesting so I thought I would try. The ordering is done via a QR code which worked well. The restaurant is very big so it's hard to say if it was busy or not.
The food was good with a good choice. I had pizza which was really good. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed.

The risotto and pasta here is very tasty with reasonable price and comfortable environment. Recommended!
