A must visit, it is a go to for me and my family. It's perfect for vegans and meateaters! The changing menu keeps us coming back. Price is good and service is nice and welcoming.

We absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, well balanced, creative, interesting and yummy! The service was very quick and super friendly! Our favourite was the sweet potato dish! 😋 Our Kids loved it as well. We’re hoping to come back!

Absolutely love this place! My favourite place on Groningen. Amazing food and atmosphere! The waitress was super nice, attentive, friendly. The food was other level. We have two teas, a cake and a toast, everything amazing! Highly recommended, don't miss it if you plan to visit Groningen

Best breakfast I've had in the Netherlands and some of the best vegan options for the price. Both the French toast and the shakshuka were to die for. Great prices and and staff were lovely. 10/10 recomend for a good vegan breakfast

First time there and it became my favourite place in Groningen. Lovely people working and also the atmosphere, the price is really cheap for the quality. They have a lot of vegan-vegetarian options wich is always a good point. The sandwich and the cake were great (also the tee with the timer 😍) I really recommend you this place 👍🏼🙌🏽

Amazing Food, beautiful ambiente and very good service. You can taste that they are putting a lot of effort in creating the menu and cooking the food. The service is very nice and professional. We had the mediterranean menu. Loved it.

If you are visiting Groningen over night, you defnitely should not miss having breakfast at De Groene Stoel. My dish was a total 10/10!

I really love the groene stoel. Everytime I am in Groningen I will visit it. They have amazing coffee (from a local brewer) and make a beautiful cappucino with oatmilk. The menu is changing every few weeks which is why I love the variety and the staff is really welcoming.

Very diverse menu and well executed. The staff is helpful and fast. The interior is also very cozy. 10/10 would recommend! Especially the bao bun and the vegan wentelteefjes.

Very nice bio friendly little restaurant in the centre of Groningen. We had breakfast there and it was excelent, especially the hummus. Tea was very good as well.

Another good example of excellent vegetarian and/or vegan food. So tasty!! My friends and I loved our lunch today and will certainly come back!! The only thing that I would suggest: the bathroom isn't a disco... Music was pretty loud there!
