What a nice experience to enter this tower. The guide was very passionate to tell the history of the tower. Very well done! The stairs are quite small so make sure to not bring a lot of stuff when you want to go to the top. You can also leave it in the first stop. On the top, it is very windy but the view is breathtaking. We love it!

Great building as a landmark.
Beautiful design.
Nice surroundings.
Easy to access.
At the city center.
Direction point as it is the highest tower in town.

Tremendous view from the top...
Be ready to take the narrow stairs...!!!
Better to go little early I'm the morning so that you can go up easily or else you should wait and help the people to celebrate down or leave space to go up...!!!!

The bell sound is very special and don't miss it..!! Better to carry a water bottle....
You can see entire Groningen... Just amazing views to capture from eyes (of course from camera as well!!!)

Amazing ancient tower! You should definitely visit it. From the inside you can see all the bells and old beams. There's a beautiful view over the city of Groningen from the top of the tower. You can visit it only with a tour guide who is included in the ticket price.

The tower has a spectacular view from up at 52 meters. The entrance price is 4,5 euro for adults and 3,5 euro for children. Is not so hard to go up with children (mine is 4 years old).

Great views of the city from the top of the tower. There are about 261 stairs to the top in a narrow staircase, but it's worth the climb in good weather. The tokens to enter the tower are sold across the street in the VVV tourist centre.

A very attractive place, you can't visit the city without climbing the tower!

Definitely worth a visit. Visit the tourist information center nearby to purchase an entry token. The stairs are narrow but it wasn't too bad. Once you reach the first outer area you can continue further up using a second set of stairs.

Great experience, the guide was prepared and helpful. We were the only 2 visitors on that turn of visit so it was even better.

Great experience! We had to reserve a spot in advance but it was worth it! The man who let us in was very friendly. Beautiful view and there is a nice short and moving movie of the origin of the tower. Steps are also fun to climb.

The landmark and the tallest tower in Groningen. This tower posesses a picturesque and authentic architectual design. From the top, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Groningen city. However, to go upstairs, you need to walk up the stairs. If you want to get a nice picture of it, I would suggest taking the angle from Grotemarkt in the morning or before sunset.

A very pleasant experience. Spoiler: there is a cinema on the top level, so don't hesitate to check the doors once you are on the viewing level 😉

P. S. I have bought the tickets by the entrance.

The turret is super tall and u can see the whole town from up there. However the stairs are scary.

Went for the walk up tour and loved it! The walk up us broken up into three levels with the focus of our tour being on the bells. As you can see even on a grey windy rainy day it's a spectacular view. My 🔥 tip: there's a rope on the first stop that you are offered to pull, do it! I got very lucky to be standing next to the rope as our guide offered and it I pulled and pulled and then it lifted me (95kg) a meter off the ground twice! Reccomend
