In Groningen one must rent a bike! The city of bikes is wonderful and even has a parking garage for only bikes! This shop is so friendly and you can rent (or buy) bikes easily. Highly recommend!

Have had some negative experiences in the city when getting my bike fixed but then a friend of mine recommended Bikes in Groningen. I felt like I was being taken seriously and multiple options were offered to fix my back tire. Service was very quick and affordable but also not hasty (which I have experienced at other bike places).
Glad my friend recommended this place to me and now I also feel confident to do the same! Best bike repair in the city :-)

The owner of the store was an amazing help to educate my girlfriend and I on how high the seat and how hard the tires should be. My girlfriend emidiatly felt the difference and most amazingly of all no charge. Truelly humble man and a great educater

This is the best bike store I have ever been to! The staff is always so kind, and the owner is honest and helpful in assisting you in your search of your perfect bicycle. I even had a repair that was needed and the owner went very out of his way to make sure my repair was done in a timely fashion. To top it all off, you are supporting a local business. I would highly recommend this being the place you buy your bicycles in Groningen!

I was there as my bike saddle was too low and i had not brought tools to adjust it with me to this short Trip to Groningen.
They were really nice, helped me without charging me 1€.
Therefor i can just recommend this shop if any of you have some issues with your bike!

I just went here an hour ago and the owner, Ahmed, is so friendly and professional. I got minor problems with my bike that do not require new spare parts (tilted saddle, crooked kick stand, flat tires, and sluggish bike lock), he fixed it in no time, only in a few minutes, and I did not even have to pay for it. This place will definitely help you when it comes to everything about bike, including renting bikes with fair price. Highly recommended place, and it also located very near to the city central. Love it!

Henrikas and his colleagues are knowledgeable, kind, patient, accommodating, and no-pressure. Buying bikes for our family was a simple, process, and we walked away with great products for a fair price. Quick service, good quality, reasonable prices, good location, and a really nice chat with the attentive owner who is a really friendly, hardworking and kind person.
I don't know about you, but most of the bicycle repair men I met looked quite grumpy. The workers of Bikes in Groningen always welcome you with a smile on their face and you can see the passion they put into their work.

Very nice and helpful. Fixed a seemingly hard (for me) but actually simple problem in 3 minutes. Didn't ask for money. Got a clear explanation of the problem, and how I could fix it myself later. Perhaps the best bike shop I've been to so far!

I called them If they can help me and got helpful advise! When I went there I met two friendly and helpful mechanics who knew what they are doing! I have a Mountainbike which requires Knowledge.. and I completely trust them about their skills! They fixed a heavy problem in a few minutes and also adjusted my gear changer! And also gave me lots of nice advises. It can't be better! Go there! Experts on duty! Every Time Again!

Bought my bike in this shop. The owner and his assistant are very nice and joyful people!
They don't see you as 'money', but have a nice chat with you, being a future student in Groningen it was intresting to here about it from someone who has been here for a bit, and learnt a bit about the city!

His assistant is very responsive and knows what he is doing; since dutch people are tall most of the bikes I couldn't get on, he didn't hesitate and completly changing the seat and the rod to take a smaller one and adjust it to my height.

Great shop, would recomend to any future resident in Groningen, he has a large choice of bikes and on every budget.
