excellent bar, nice atmosphere, super drinks and we are lucky that Monday watch the live jazz band with the Greek musicians

The location of this place is just fantastic as it's next to a busy junction. Some action is usually seen from the windows there lol.. Along with it's nicely decorated interior, good servicable personnel and lovely selection of beverages to choose from what's not to like? Certainly go in and see for yourself.

This is the pub to be in. Even if it's a wild night out with friends, a cozy meet up or you're just feeling like having some beers and meeting new people this is the place to be. The staff is particularly social so even if you don't know the crowd they'll make it easy for you. Prices are good and you get great booze for it. Some of my best Groningen experiences took place here. Cheers to The Crown!

Very fun and cozy international pub. Very laid back and friendly atmosphere. For all ages and types of people. Great beer selections including craft beer, stouts, and ciders. Music is always great here and they have live performances once every so many days.

Awesome place! The service is extremely good! The servers don't mind to have a little chat with you and even start some of them themselves, which I've rarely encountered in bars / pubs. They also have a good range of drinks and give you their honest opinion about them. They don't pretend to know something when they don't. They also have multiple live-music evenings, which consist of jazz, blues, classic-rock and a jam session. If you want to have a chat with the musicians; They also don't mind to talk a while with you!

Excellent employees, remember your name and previous orders, likes and dislikes, in for a laugh and not shy to send one back. Balanced beermenu and enough liquors to your fancy or for cocktails when ordered. Has an upper bar for private parties.

Pub beautiful! For a night with friends The Crown is ideal! Beers are super tasty and the service is very good! It's my favourite place in Groningen to drink a beer and to listen to some music

An amazing place to have a few drinks with one or many friends. The music there is very good and the live concerts very agreeable as well. The waitresses are lovely !

Very cozy place and kind bartenders. On Friday there is live music with a pleasant local band. On Tuesday instead all the special beers are at 3€.

Really nice atmosphere. Bar staff are really good, they're quite funny and can tell they're all good friends. I'd highly recommend this place.

Great bar, if you are lucky "Little Bear" will be working, one of the best bar staff in Groningen.

Very gezellig, love it, delightful beers and beverages. The moose in the toilet is a little daunting to get used to but if you don't look him in the eyes, put 25 cents on the little dish and continue into the toilet stall, you should be fine.

Lot's of great beers, but horrible whiskey for an Irish pub. The waitress got us in telling us there were boardgames, but there weren't any. Other than that: great music, service, ambiance, view and disgusting toilets. 10/10 for an irish pub
