A really nice restaurant, definitely recommend the gyoza, and chicken boa bun for starters. As mains, the rendang and teriyaki are great!

In the centre of the Grote Markt in Haarlem. Great atmosphere. Can sit inside or outside. I had the Bambi Borrel mix which was a combination of traditional Dutch food with an Asian influence. You couldn’t go wrong at 13,50 Euro. Coffee was great, not bitter. They only had whole milk or oat milk. They gave table water, you didn’t have to purchase it. Tap water in the Netherlands is totally safe to drink, they say it is often better quality than bottled water. Waitresses spoke English which was a bonus. The menu was not in English but you can always use google translate or ask what the menu says.

Amazing food!!! One of the best dumplings I’ve had

2 years ago we were guests in the hostel and this year we were so impressed by the hospitality and the food that we have now come back from Germany again. We were so looking forward to the Baos and were not disappointed. Although this time we are actually on vacation in Amsterdam we came back twice and were so happy to be back. Much love and greetings from Germany and see you next time!

We went to the restaurant, not the hotel. The food is great, tasty and varied. Several vegan dishes (it is not a vegan place) for starters and main courses; no vegan desserts. The Chilli Mandu and the Thai Curry Soup were excellent. Average price per person with beer, no dessert = 20€.

Was surprised everything was so good. Did not expect their culinary skill is up to this level for fusion food. Great staff too. If you happen to be at Haarlem, do not miss out on this great eating place!

What makes this place so great is the fact it has the best of multiple asian countries on the menu. You might doubt the quality of the food in this scenario but it was spot on, truly! We're definitely coming back here.

Bambu is the best place to have street food in Haarlem!!
Great quantity, taste at a reasonable price.I have been here 4-5 times now and I keep coming back to them to satisfy my cravings. I have tried their gyoza, veg dumplings, crispy chicken, chicken spring roll,samosa, chicken Tikka and death by chocolate. I would say not a single dish disappointed me. There staff is super helpful and friendly.

Found this little Gem when looking for a late night dinner (around 9 PM on a weekday)

The food was delicious, full of flavours/spices and presented beautifully.

Location is amazing on the Grote Market where you can enjoy the beauty of the city.

The best part though of our meal was the wonderful and friendly service from the staff and the owner. Kudos!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE TO THE BITS! I think this is my go to if Im looking for a good place where I can actually have good food! The staff is friendly and lovely, but the food… the food is what keeps drawing me back 🥰 also love their coconut bowls and cocktails 🥰 amazing place.

I ordered a Bao Crispy Chicken.
Because it’s a Take Away, the Bao bread, Chicken and Salad were all served individually actually. I still enjoyed the food.

This is a really wonderful place! Excellent food, great cocktails and very accommodating and friendly staff. Can get quite pricey but worth it for a special day/ evening out.

This was my first time eating in house at Bambu. Usually I order at from one of the delivery services at home but was so impressed I had to bring my friends here. Great food, and the service was also really good. Checked on us periodically to ask if we needed anything else and food came out fast.

This a cute little place in the city centre right on the town square. This square just capture all the beauty of Haarlem, its history and architecture.

But back to Bambu food is great there and there is something quite satisfying about sharing and assembling your meal while dinning with friends in a relaxed setting especially with u are provided with quality and delicious produce.

The owners sense of humour is evident in the names on the menu, which is by the way easy to read and neatly sectioned.

Definitely one of my favourites in the city.

Amazing flavors and great service. Loved the Japanese gyoza, spicy eggplant sandwich and veg bao. In the Harlem town square - a very relaxed setting
