Third time in this hotel in the past ten years.Perfect position, near the station and above all near the most wonderful sites. Many restaurants an places to visit. Lovely walks near the canals. The hotel staff is very professional and kind. We met an Italian young lady, Francesca, who was working at the breakfast service. She was very helpful explaining many things and recommending places. The breakfast was perfect with many choices, sweet and salted. The room was comfortable and bed was excellent, we had a nice rest. Definitely we will visit it again

Great rooms in a great location at a great price! The staff is INCREDIBLY helpful, and I would totally recommend renting bikes for a day from them. Not too expensive and it was so much fun :)

No complaints, nice hotel in a good location. Everyone was friendly, rooms were clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Stayed at the hotel from the 29th November until 5th December 2023. Enjoyable stay. The front of house, and the restaurant staff were both helpful and nice to deal with. One example on the first night being dead batteries in the TV remote control, where the front of house manager came right up and replaced them without passing the job on to another staff member to do, and who might get around to doing it later. It is that simple "Can do" attitude that can make a difference between an OK hotel or a good one. The room was spacious and clean, with no serious wear or tear, and housekeeping did their job properly each morning. Will book the hotel again when returning to Haarlem.

Great location, friendly staff, good price, and rooms were a good size with lots of hot water for baths. Highly recommend

3 nights in Haarlem at this lovely hotel was the perfect way to start our vacation. Very comfortable & clean and fabulous location. Lots of great restaurants, cafes & coffee shops in the area. Would definitely recommend!

Very well positioned hotel in central Haarlem and far enough away from the outdoor bars so you can get a good nights sleep. Also air conditioning works well at the height of summer which isn’t the case in many other hotels.

What a wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of unique little touches. One of my favorite things was the amount of water dispenser bottles all around the hotel - I wish all hotels had these. The hotel is situated near many cafe's, restaurants etc. We loved walking around the area. If we ever make it back to Haarlem, we will look no further for a place to stay.

Great location right around the curve from the Grote Kirk and centrally located, close to restaurants, shops, and the town square. We utilized the bar and restaurant next door for dinner, and the large breakfast space was well stocked the next morning. Room was nice size and comfortable.

I’ve been going to The Netherlands every year for the past 12 years, and I have stayed at this hotel at least 7 years. I attend a music festival in the Summer, and this place is located conveniently for my needs. The rooms are very spacious, which is a plus in Holland. There is a bar and a restaurant downstairs, and the Haarlem Cathedral and main square are just one block away. I would definitely recommend staying here, if you visit Haarlem 🙂

Great location just off the main town square. Ask for a quiet room if there's an event on in town. Staff friendly and rooms comfortable. Nice bar and lots of really good restaurants withing 5 minutes walk

This is second time in two months when i am staying in this hotel..
Honestly, i am editing my review because, the kind of service and satisfaction bar this hotel service is creating, is absolutely fabulous..

Today i came back to my room after long day of work, found my room is very well maintained with one note on my bef..

This room has been cleaned by ***** person. Let us know if there is anything emee need to improve..

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff. Right next to the canal! Couldn't be a better location as a base for exploring Haarlem. And Haarlem is hopping! Just walk out the door and there are cafes and restaurants all around, buzzing with action and all with outdoor dining as appropriate with the weather. Watch out for the bikes and motor bikes; they are everywhere and mix freely with pedestrians.

If you want excellent service and to stay in the "happening" spot in Haarlem, The Amrath Grand Hotel Frans Hals is your best bet! Also they have a restaurant for lunch/dinner, and their breakfast buffet was good. Comfortable beds and spotless rooms- kudos to the housekeeping. Front desk staff A+++

Beautiful room and extremely welcoming reception staff made for a perfect stay. Our Friday flight was cancelled because of snow, so we only got to spend one night, instead of two, but were delighted to be told that they wouldn't charge for the first night, even though the rate was non refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of planned arrival. Customer service like that is rare, so we'd return to beautiful Haarlem, just to stay here again!

Stayed there for an extended weekend trip. The room was nice and clean, had good air con.
The bed matress was a bit soft, but I did not have any trouble sleeping on it. Also there was a bit of noise from the street during the night, but it did not keep me awake
The staff changed bedsheets extraordinarily when my girlfriend requested it (bedsheets are probably only changed at guest change)

This place is amazing, the decor is exquisite and worth a visit for this alone! However the ambiance of the place is particularly special, the bar is also beautiful with Art Deco features that will have you reaching for your camera! The staff were friendly and attentive and the drinks were delicious and served in style, not overpriced either.

A delightful place to visit bursting with wonderful design and an architectural gem!

First class hotel in the center of Haarlem. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Fast, free WiFi. Within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, the cathedral, and great shopping. Excellent staff and quiet, clean, well appointed rooms. A minor demerit for the room service menu, which is mostly drink and very little food, but that is easy to overlook compared to the rest. Highly recommended.
