Lex is ontzettend kundig in het bakkersvak, je kan duidelijk zijn liefde voor het bakken en zijn passie voor alles wat zoet en lekker is terugproeven in zijn creaties. Heel creatief ook, want als vegan bakker moet je natuurlijk alle dierlijke producten vermijden en daar dus steeds opnieuw een passend alternatief voor vinden. Ik wist niet dat ik vegan zo lekker kon vinden, en ik raad Hot Buns daarom zeker aan!

De taarten van Hot Buns Bakery zijn verrukkelijk. Ik heb de pistache, red velvet en de chocolade caramel gegeten. Lex legt zijn passie en liefde in de taarten. Dat proef je terug, ze zijn perfect van structuur. Niet te droog, niet te nat. Alles is qua smaak ook in balans. Ik eet zelf niet veganistisch, ik was dan ook benieuwd hoe de veganistische taarten zouden smaken. Nou, ze smaken gewoon naar taart, maar dan wel hele lekkere! Echt een aanrader! En nog thuisbezorgd ook door Lex zelf, als je in Utrecht woont.
