You can tell they care about the menu and the ingredients: everything was fresh, delicious and well presented. The main dish (for lunch) was a little small compared to the entries and the price. The lemon cake was more of a pudding inside a pastry but nevertheless very tasty (also very sweet). Good wine selection although I had none. No drinks menu, so FYI a bottle of water is €6. Staff was attentive and the atmosphere was nice except for one part of the restaurant that is very dark even at a window. Also the airconditioning makes bubbling noises. Strangely enough the water at the tap in the toilets was lukewarm.

The only negative feedback is the voice isolation is weak and the environment is noisy. There is free selection of the course from the menu but I tried the basic 4 courses menu: antipasti + first course + main dish + dessert
The food is amazing especially the meat was so good still taste is remarkable… antipasti menu is really wide and has a lot of options to try different tastes in one course. O really love cheesy cake and haven’t forgotten the taste…

Super nice Italian. Very delicious mini focaccia breads to begin, Vitello tonnato was amazing and the gnocchis were sublime. A home run tiramisu! Not just out of the park but out of this world.

Wow, such lovely Italian food and wonderful service. They serve more than spaghetti and meatballs (thank goodness).. The menu was very pescatarian, vegetarian and gluten free friendly 😊

Had a dinner here for a small school reunion with old classmates. They all absolutely loved the food and want to return in the future. I ate at La Forca 2 times before and it was also great then. One of the girls in the group was pregnant and the waitress was very helpful with providing information about all the dishes. Gotta love a staff that knows what they’re serving :-)! Good wines, delicious fresh food.

Very good! We just finished take away menu and it was delicious. Good portions (non dutch portions for once lol), very tasty, good quality products, fresh and last but not least sweet service. They made me cannelloni extra even for free and my dad (ofc he is dutch and thus did not tip) but i just want to say i really appreciate the service and food that made my birthday weekend. As soon as the restaurants open up i am coming back for the dine in experience.

My husband is really choosy when it comes to dining out and we rarely eat at any restaurant more than once, but La Forca quickly became an exception. We've visited now several times for dinner and also for a festive lunch. It's good for special occasions, but also a romantic date night.

The food and the wine pairings never disappoint. Whether we order from the menu, chef's menu or daily specials, it's a sensory delight. It has a cozy atmosphere, with a fireplace, perfect for winter evenings. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. They give the impression that they take pride in what they do and above all want you to enjoy your dining experience. It's easily our favourite restaurant in Haarlem.

Best Italian restaurant in Haarlem, is listed on Michelin guide 2020, the prices are very good for the quality presented, the staff is very friendly and there are extra season options that are not mentioned in the menu. The veal neck is a great option as main dish, very tasty and tender meat. Highly recommend it.

I came here for a Saturday lunch and selected the lunch time menu. I can’t recommend it enough, the food was delicious and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I can highly recommend this for a lovely lunch.
