Went for my wife's birthday and got the 4 course menu. Best meal I have had in Haarlem. Can't wait to go back.

Everything from the silverware and the wine glasses to the ambiance and the service, the wine and the food...each element played its role in a wonderful evening. This is a restaurant where you'll want to take your time and enjoy every well thought out bit, this is not fast-food for the hasty. A chef with passion and creativity that resonates throughout his craft...even the table oil. Happy to have discovered this gem, last night was a first but definitely not the last. Thank you.

A wonderful experience. One guy does it all (well, except the dishes). Don't be in a hurry. Don't mind the slightly aloof exterior of the owner/waiter/chef. He's a great guy and an amazing cook. Plus he's surprisingly good at getting you pleasantly sloshed ;)

This restaurant is a real hidden gem in the heart of Haarlem. Food is delicious, wines excellently paired & the location picturesque. Definitely recommended for any foodie looking for a combination of cozy location and fine dining. Will definitely come back!

The do it all host/chef is extremely nice and knows his fair share about cooking delicious food. Also the wine he chose for us matched perfectly with the courses we ordered.

Fantastic takeaway menu. From appetizers to special treats for that coffee after the meal. Perfect for a special occasion. The food was delicious, the instructions easy follow. Highly recommended.

The chef is the waiter is the business owner. A great restaurant and with a wide collection of wines. Service is awesome, food is great, midpriced, I loved it.

Ganz wunderbares Essen und ein toller Gastgeber. Dazu gibt es eine hervorragende Weinauswahl zu absolut angemessenen Preisen. Die Küche (eine Mischung aus französisch und holländisch) ist perfekt abgestimmt. Jeder der 4 Gänge hat ganz ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Sobald wir wieder in Haarlem sind, werden wir ganz sicher wiederkommen. Danke für den wunderbaren Abend!

Zeer verfijnd en fijn restaurant. Goede atmosfeer, keurige gastheer, heerlijk eten en drinken. Complete ervaring.
Ton maakt het op maat en past aan waar nodig, erg attent.

Voor mij is dit zoals elk restaurant zou moeten zijn: goed eten, kennis van zaken, verzorgd, ruimte om lekker te zitten, oog voor de klant. En nee, dat kost je dus niet je maandloon, een driegangmenu voor 45 euro is echt heel schappelijk voor wat je krijgt, qua eten, bediening en sfeer. Echt een aanrader!

Ik eet vegetarisch, en ik was bij Karmozijn met een groep carnivoren. Maar naast dat mijn vrienden heerlijk hebben gegeten, verrast Ton elke keer opnieuw met fantastisch heerlijke vegetarische gerechten. Helemaal top!!!

Bij Karmozijn ga je echt voor een avond uit.
Het overheerlijke eten samen met de bijpassende wijnen maken een fantastische ervaring.

Mocht de crêpe Suzette op de kaart staan of beschikbaar zijn vergeet dit overheerlijke dessert niet te bestellen.

Het is een klein resaurant, waar de kok zowel kookt als de bediening doet. Alles gaat op een rustig tempo. Gister om 19.30 gaan zitten en na 00.00 gingen we pas weg. We hadden lekker gezeten e n geen moment het idee dat het lang duurde. Top . Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken.

Verrassende gerechten voor een uitstekende prijs! Lang geleden dat ik zo veel meer gekregen heb dan ik had verwacht! 3 gangen gegeten, die op heerlijke relaxte manier werden geserveerd.
