Very cosy restaurant with authentic Dutch food located in the heart of Haarlem.
Even though it was busy Christmas market time and restaurant offered limited seasonal menu, once I asked the waiters about stampots they went above all expectations and agreed to make a few dishes just for our group.
The food was tasty and we really enjoyed our time here. Definitely worth a visit if you want to try some Dutch cuisine.

What a lovely place! Excellent and friendly service, the food is 100% Dutch - a delicious meatball, side and gravy. Very filling and surprisingly affordable, especially after Amsterdam prices. Could not have made a better choice - definitely give it a shot!

Absolute gem of a place. Cheap, friendly, delicious food and excellent beer choice. We ate here twice during our stay it was so good! If I come back to Haarlem, I'll be coming back here first.

This type of restaurant is becoming increasingly hard to find these days. This is traditional dutch food and oh man is it good. Stop in and try it.

Traditional Dutch kitchen that gives you the experience of the food here in the Netherlands. The interior is very nice classic and has also the warmth of a living room. Wauw the meatball, sauces and the mashed sweet potato’s was a perfect combination to enjoy the dutch flavor. I’ll definitly recommend this place for a chique dining! The food was absolutely superb and Kenny (the owner / chef) is adorable. They only serve typical Dutch food. They have all kinds of meat or veggie balls with different gravies and mashed potatoes. Believe it or not, it's actually pretty hard to find places where they serve Dutch food, all the more if you're looking for a great place. Definitely worth trying ! Thanks a lot for the great experience.

It's not a huge place, and it's not a huge menu. Some traditional Dutch snacks, and then straight into the business of stamppot. A choice of three protein types, three stamppot variations, and three gravies. But what they do, they do brilliantly. Well-cooked, delicious food. I may need to go back for a second opinion.

If you are looking for an authentic Dutch comfort food experience, this is the place to go. Very delicious food served to us by the owner and chef who graciously explained and guided us along the menu. He is obviously passionate about what he is doing. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, very clean and we were very comfortable here. Dutch detail right down to the cutlery and dishes. Very reasonable prices, great value and a great experience!

Really nice place with fantastic food. We went here for Father’s Day and we’re not disappointed. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The decor was so cute and most importantly the food was delicious! I would recommend coming here if you are looking for traditional Dutch food and a restaurant that is off the beaten path.

It was really a great experience! The location is a super cosy Dutch restaurant, with a classic old-but-gold atmosphere, where you can get authentic "stamppot met balletjes" - a home-made meatball served on a traditional Dutch dish made from potatoes, mashed with (boiled) vegetables. Fully vegetarian option is available, the dishes are super filling and everything tastes really really good. On top of that, the staff has been absolutely friendly and welcoming with us, hence making our dinner a top-notch experience. Will come back for sure!

A closing note to my "fellow" countrymen: people that are not fully capable of dealing with their children should consider staying home, or alternatively provide them with a better education, instead of using reviews as a way to express their frustration.

Fantastic Dutch cuisine with a great selection of local drinks. Kenny made us feel incredibly welcome and gave us an amazing experience. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Haarlem.
