Restaurant Zuidam

Trip from Rome. Wonderful and relaxing site were to spend beautiful moments with partner or friends enjoying a romantic view. Very good food and beer. Service was excellent with a very kind boy who followed us from the order to the bill. We will visit the restaurant soon!

The perfect place, right next to a windmill on the river, beautiful building with big windows looking out onto the river. Gorgeous decor and an intimate vibe. And mostly the food was incredible. Lots of variety on the menu, presented beautifully and tasted perfect. Very friendly service too

Great spot with wonderful food & great views of Haarlem. Lunched with delicious food and drinks. Terrific service with cheerful, friendly servers on a very humid day in October. Very fresh and food well prepared. Excellent salad, burgers are top-notch. Not rushed at all in late afternoon. Not expensive for great quality food & drinks. Beautiful interior decor on each level. Looking forward to a return visit.

Small but nice restaurant located close to the city center of Haarlem. The view is nice, in the summer you can sit outside in the terrace and enjoy the weather. The food is exquisite and the personal is very helpful and kind.
I will for sure recommend this place.

Friendly and quick staff. Even though the restaurant was super full, everything was served quick and well. Loved the sourdough bread with aioli. Can recommend. Also a great place to watch the boats pass by during warm days because they have couches right next to the canal. Soooo nice

An awesome historical place at one of the canals in Haarlem. Historical because it was a previous boathouse, or better a dry dock. Now it is a great restaurant and cafe.
Great and friendly service, nice diner card and lovely wines and drinks.
I prefer not to say to love this, because otherwise it will be too busy.
This area has also nice houses which belongs to this dry dock. You still can see some of the historical elements. Enjoy the view!

The restaurant is bright and clean. The location is very convenient. Indoor and outdoor seatings are available. Sandwiches were delicious, although the options weren't a lot.

Very good customer service, didn’t have anything to eat, but the food that came out look delicious, had a couple sat by us who was enjoying their lunch, we had a drink and took in the views

This place was so good and the ambiance was amazing. You are right next to the Molen De Adriaan windmill. It’s so picturesque. I got the croque monsieur and it was delicious.

Excellent food. Lots of thought given to sound dampening. Lovely place, ambience and view. Food is very good to excellent. Also nice that they give you a choice of tap water or bottled water!

The restaurant is the black building with the terracotta roof next to the windmill (see photos). A great waterside location, good menu and friendly service.

Eating on the water on a sunny day. What could be better? The "sandwich of the week" was very good.

Great restaurant with classic dishes in a cosy setting and super vibes. I had the Croque monsieur for lunch and it was excellent: great taste and a good salad on the side

The place is too beautiful to not give it 5 stars. The city itself is too amazing. Price was a bit much but then look at the place. At the end of the day it's quite inexpensive for where its placed.

Daan and the staff at Zuidam were friendly and remained professional with a full restaurant of happy customers. They were also knowledgeable about their wines.

The Iberico Spareribs were excellent. I would recommend getting two orders. We also got the vegetable springs rolls which were very simple but enough to pretend we were being healthy.

I had an Irish coffee for dessert which was surprisingly nice. Mixed well, with a frothy layer of rich milk.

The view, the atmosphere, the staff, the food. Tens across the board!

Cool place on the water for drinks and food. Service was good and was fun to see boats pull up for drinks while we were there
