Café de Gooth

We enjoyed Cafe de Gooth and stayed for a few hours before going to a Christmas show.
The veggie burger did not disappoint- layered with pesto and mozzarella, it was tasty & filling. The fries were hot & delicious, the salad fresh. The beer the bar brews itself was very fresh and is highly recommended.
Great service… we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This is one of our favorite restaurant in Haarlem. We visited twice. The ribs and skewer are very delicious. The drinks are also good. They also provide salad and fries with the main dishes. The staff was also very nice and friendly. We had a very nice dinner there.

Visiting here from Texas, I can certify that the spare ribs here are a masterpiece!

We are on vacation from the US staying in Haarlem and wanted to eat at a local restaurant. Unaware that this a holiday weekend, we ventured over to the Café de Gooth. The outdoor area was filled with celebrating locals so we went inside to find it was empty. We seated ourselves and were greeted promptly. After using Google translate to read the menu we decide on the goat cheese salad and BBQ ribs. The salad was delicious, warm goat cheese served on top of fresh spring lettuce with beets, cucumber, tomato and pine nuts and a light dressing. The baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender and a generous portion. Crispy french fries accompanied them with a delicious garlic dip. They also offer an extensive beer list, not being beer drinkers, I can not comment on it.

This is my go-to place for a drink and a bite to eat when in Haarlem. Service is friendly, the food great and they have a good selection of drinks. We had the meal-size salads which were great

Massive burger for a reasonable price, almost too much food! Great service and great atmosphere.

Great place to sit in a patio near the market. We had a sampler plate which was great bar food and people were drinking green beer, which we avoided.

I've been here like a thousand times and never had a bad experience here. The staff is great and they have great beers. One of my favorite pubs in Haarlem!

Probably the best and friendliest customer service I've ever had to deal with, price was unbelievably cheap considering how good the food was, I always go here for lunch when I visit Haarlem and I'm definitely going back, I fully recommend this place!
