This place is a hidden gem in plain sight! Looks like a normal bar from the outside, with a very cosy interior with a plane theme. The staff are very friendly!

For Australian readers, it is named after the KLM plane that completed in the London to Melbourne air race in 1934. It won the handicap category because it carried 3 passengers and proved that passenger travel over such a distance was safe and comfortable. The journey took 81 hours, 10 minutes of air time.

A cozy "classic" brown pub conveniently located at the Grote Markt in Harlem.
Clean, enough room for groups and friendly service.

The only con I can really think of is that it's popular. Which means ya cannot always find a seat.

Beer and service was great

Rated the best café of Haarlem in 2017. This place has a truly unique and cosy atmosphere. They have quite some craft beers on draft and serve excellent snacks. If your on the search for more craft beers you might want to have a look at "Uiver". It's just around the corner towards "Toneelschuur".
