A Cozy Retreat with a Stunning Lake View

This place is located in the Twiske Recreational zone, where you have to pay for entrance (we paid € 3,5 for less than 3 hours). From the moment we parked our car the place looked like a safe haven especially in the middle of the winter. We stepped in, the warmth and coziness of this place enveloped us, making it instantly welcoming. What truly sets it apart is the breathtaking lake view, offering a serene backdrop to our dining experience. The staff here deserve a special mention for their friendliness and efficiency, ensuring our visit was smooth and enjoyable.

We tried the fries topped with pulled chicken, and it was delightful - the perfect blend of flavors and textures (great bbq sauce). The food quality here is commendable. Also, the coffees were a highlight, each sip rich and flavorful. We had hazelnut latte and pumpkin spice latte.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to enjoy good food and drinks in a beautiful setting or maybe a casual coffee date in a gray winter day (like in our case). Highly recommended for its wonderful ambiance, great service, and delicious offerings.

What a beautiful place! Arrived here, got to pick where we wanted to sit(with the best view) ordered very quickly and the drinks and food came out perfectly on time too. Definitely need to try the hazelnut latte the best I've had ever! & The nachos are delicious comes with fresh guacamole, sour cream and lovely salsa. Very pleased with this place, my new favorite spot!

I love the atmosphere of this place! Food is fine and service similar to other places (meaning you need to wait long time or be proactive yourself) but I am a regular visitor despite. Nothing can beat day out at Twiske.

Great place to hang back after visiting Twiske with enjoyable views and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for snacks and lunch, even oatmilk cappuccinos and vegan ice cream. You can have a swim there too.

Top place next to the water, good friendly and carefull staff, good food and suberplocation to swim sunbad and have a good walk around the water. Only 20 minutes from amsterdam, if you want to escape the heat off Amsterdam this is the place to be

Oh yes i remeber this. It was a sunny day. We were sitting. We received food. It was intriguingly tasty. Then we went home. No one really knew why we were there, but it felt good. Very good. Thank you for your consideration.

A fantastic place surrounded by water in the middle of the beautiful Het Twiske. Excellent for sitting outside in the sun. Delicious cakes, especially the lemon meringue. Excellent quality of food. The service is very warm and friendly. Dogs are more than welcome.
