Great spot to sit with friends. The service is also great. Loads of options to choose from on the menu so you can always get something you like.

Nice waiters and good food. Also the interiors are taken care of. The result it's a really good place where to spend some hours enjoying who's around you.
There are also some tables outside, so you can eat on the river: during summer it feels very special!

Very nice experience at De Bataaf! Quality food, very nicely presented in plates, efficient service. I definitely recommend the terrasse along the river Zaan on a sunny day. No tourists, for a typical Dutch gezellig moment 👍👍👍

Batavia 1894 stelt nooit teleur. Reeds verschillende keren geweest voor lunch en diner en het eten is altijd heel lekker. Prijs - kwaliteit een echte aanrader, hier is het nog leuk om uit eten te gaan! We komen zeker nog terug.
