Very very big supermarket with everything you might need from big bazar to action to fish store to a good coffee place!

Huge selection on everything. A huge variety of organic foods and I love the section where they offer fresh homemade pizza before your eyes that you can take home and put into your oven. Definitely better than the frozen stuff

There is only one supermarket... Albert Heijn!

You can simply get anything here. As far as I know this is the largest supermarket in Alkmaar. I especially like the large variety of eco (organic) products and the fresh sushi section where you can ask them to prepare fresh if they don't have it on the shelf.

One of my favourites places, you can get anything here, highly recommended

Biggest product range, fresh, on-site sushi preparation, opening hours a bit provincial, could have more diet drinks.

Nice supermarket with wide coise. Self-service works fine. But you should have maestro card.

Newly renovated, has got everything you can think of and is really a xl. Enough parking space, including a parking garage underneath.
